With the horribleness and despondency of January 20 approaching, the Furkids want you to know they are here for you. They want you to know they are here to wrap you up in their love and see you through to better days. That’s why they chose this wonderful song written and sung by the late, great Bill Withers.

The furkids tell me the coins for the jukebox were donated by a smiling ghost this week. They seem to be on very friendly terms with a great many spirits. The jukebox is all ready to go so just press play, hum along with the instrumental intro, then scroll down and sing along with the illustrated lyrics.

Furkids love the frothy milk at ko-fi.com/furkids. They want you to know they love licking up their frothy moustaches. You can treat them to their favourite frothies for $3/€3/£3. All proceeds go towards Loula’s healthcare with our heartfelt gratitude to all contributors. 💝 💖 💝

  1. Wonderful message, Michelle. We sure do need to be available to any creature, any species, who needs to lean these days! Thank you for the photo of the chocolate chihuahua…I have developed such a crush on them because of the one, named Betty, who has a featured role on the detective show “Will Trent.” She was a fun device on the first season as a companion to a dyslexic detective. Now, she is in half the scenes, undoubtedly because of audience demand. In my house, Hubby and I shout “Betty” whenever she appears! 🫶

  2. Michelle, I didn’t know how badly I needed this. I actually knew the song even though I was guessing what it would be. And animals, well, almost got me to the edge of crying. Thank you so very much for something wonderful. I love all your pieces and today this really hit home. Thank you.
