I don’t know about you but I will be quite glad to see 2024 go away. It has not been a good year on so many levels and so there is a kind of pathetic irony to the fact that Donald Trump will grace TIME Magazine’s cover as Person Of The Year. There are many other fine candidates. Claudia Sheinbaum is Mexico’s first woman president. That’s laudable. Kamala Harris did a fine job with all the circumstances she operated under. That’s laudable. Gisele Pelicot survived a mass rape, orchestrated by none other than her husband. That shows some mettle. Yulia Navalnaya has shown bravery after losing her husband, Alexei Navalny. And we could go on. But TIME wants to curry favor with this bum, because now the normaization of Trump is complete. And we are living in Wonderland on steroids.

That’s about the literal truth of it. Zelensky is a true leader of his people, in wartime, which is the most challenging circumstance for any leader, but we get the charismatic cult figure on the cover, representing the year.

Let’s just get 2024 over with and begin plans for 2026. There’s another 40 days or so of all this celebration and nose rubbing, but the minute that Trump hits office, it will all start to come unglued like it did the last time and worse. Let’s just hope we don’t have another global pandemic.

Was President Zelensky not even on Time’s bloody stupid list? Nice to see that their short list contained a mere 2 people worthy of consideration, both women. The mainstream media’s pathetic ass-licking won’t save them, as they should well know. Trump remembers only the “bad things” they’ve said and conveniently forgets anything else. Bullies love grovelers, it makes their sadistic fun all the more enjoyable.
