It’s been a rollercoaster of a century thus far and the Furkids know it. While they’re mostly laid back, they’re not trouble-free, particularly when their playful exuberance leads to some anxious moments or breakfast is late. At these times they want you to know that they are very grateful when furriends and hoomans come to their rescue. They know you’re there for them; they want you to know they’re there for you too.
They also pointed out that it’s been a long time since we’ve enjoyed some Tom Jones so we combined these two ideas into one song this weekend. A good-looking Welshman gave the team coins for the jukebox so it’s all set. There are a few bars of intro to give you enough time to get everyone settled. I especially love the last one, where the German shepherd kept watch over the fawn.
I can’t remember where I found that one – it was in my coda file so I’d scooped it up from somewhere! I love that his herding instincts kicked in as soon as he saw the fawn.
