Today the Journal informs us that the president-elect is drafting an executive order which would create a board which would purge generals that he doesn’t like. Their subtitle is “Panel could upend military review process and raise concerns about politicization of military.” Nahhhhh. Ya think?
WASHINGTON—The Trump transition team is considering a draft executive order that establishes a “warrior board” of retired senior military personnel with the power to review three- and four-star officers and to recommend removals of any deemed unfit for leadership.
If Donald Trump approves the order, it could fast-track the removal of generals and admirals found to be “lacking in requisite leadership qualities,” according to a draft of the order reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. But it could also create a chilling effect on top military officers, given the president-elect’s past vow to fire “woke generals,” referring to officers seen as promoting diversity in the ranks at the expense of military readiness.
As commander in chief, Trump can fire any officer at will, but an outside board whose members he appoints would bypass the Pentagon’s regular promotion system, signaling across the military that he intends to purge a number of generals and admirals.
The draft order says it aims to establish a review that focuses “on leadership capability, strategic readiness, and commitment to military excellence.” The draft doesn’t specify what officers need to do or present to show if they meet those standards.
Oh, I can help them with that. What officers need to do to meet those standards is kiss Donald Trump’s ass. This is Loyalty 101 time, friends. Nothing more, nothing less.
Trump has said he would ask all generals involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan to resign by “noon on Inauguration Day.”
One feared potential target of Trump’s threatened purge could be Air Force Gen. CQ Brown Jr., the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, according to two defense officials. During the 2020 George Floyd protests, Brown spoke about the impact that movement had on him and what it was like to rise through the military ranks as a Black fighter pilot.
If he’s Black, he’s probably “woke” and that’s who Trump is after. This is a cerebral shit show, meaning that anything you can think, no matter how insane, will probably come to pass, and the crazier it is, the sooner it will happen.
The next big revelation will be who’s Secretary of Defense. I hope it’s not Mike Flynn but anything can happen.
No matter what it is, Trump can find a way to make it worse.
So now the USA is going to have a politicised military.
Only if they let him.
This is going to be a moral test that republicans have already failed, can they really drag everyone else down?
I sure hope and pray not.
He doesn’t need permission. And court battles will be fast tracked to so called Supreme Court and they will side with the tyrant.

There were those that believed the German military wouldn’t follow Hitler’s worst instincts. I wonder how many unarmed citizens will be shot dead in the streets by an order from the president before people care more about freedom than getting laid, a new phone, cheaper eggs, and which celebrity is phucking a new partner?
