After more than 50 years of being politically engaged, I now have a new All Time Favorite. Up until last night, my all time favorite brain freeze moment, whether a candidate of incumbent was clear cut.
It was several years ago. The Wicked Witch of the Southwest, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer was running for a second term. She was in a televised debate against her Democratic opponent. She was asked a question, and she literally vapor locked. Her mouth was slightly open mouthed, her eyes were glazed, her body had pre-mortem rigor mortis. It wasn’t the moderators job to bail her out, so she stood there for an embarrassing 33 seconds before she finally found her voice and tried to recover. It didn’t work.
But last nights Trump Town Hall is a whole different breed of cat. It was set up by the campaign, with a tame, friendly pre-screened audience asking pre-cleared questions. The format was for Traitor Tot to be asked 8-12 pre-screened softball questions, and then ramble on as long as he liked. Geico may want to make a television commercial about this one, using a caveman in the place of Trump.
But it all went off the rails. It started when first one, and then a second audience member passed out from the heat. This is nothing new. As MSNBC pointed out, Trump regularly has older supporters pass out at his events. After all, he holds rallies in uncooled airport hangars, outside daytime venues like Butler, PA, and even open-air events in heat emergency venues like Las Vegas. And his response has always been identical, he just talks right over it. No doddering oldster passing out is messing with his mojo.
Not last night. About 18 minutes into his town hall, a supporter passed out. When EMT’s rushed in, traitor Tot stopped and looked out into the audience, clearly distracted. And when a second fan hit the deck a minute or two later, he switched his attention over there. And then, like somebody watching a pickleball match, he just kept swinging side to side to watch the action.
And somewhere in there, while he was observing the action, something somewhere deep in Trump mentally proclaimed, F*ck it! That’s enough. Even as the supporters were being led out, Trump lifted his microphone and said, That’s enough with the questions. Who wants to listen to stupid questions anyway? Guys, pull up my favorite list and let it rip! Which started a nine-song playlist of the Dorks.
I thought Traitor Tot had embarrassed himself in Saudi Arabia when he totally blew up that stupid Sword Dance they tried to teach him. But this was way worse. Trump has the natural rhythm of a blind deaf man. I’ve often admitted that I couldn’t dance on the end of a rope, and His Lowness is right there with me. It’s just a good thing he didn’t try to move his feet, or he would have tripped himself.
But here’s the McGuffin. I swear to God, for that half an hour Trump wasn’t even in the room. He stood there for a long stretch, bovinely staring out over the audience, then occasionally swayed his hips, pumped a fist, rocked his hands, seldom in time with the actual music.
My personal feelings are that at that moment, Trump was in a place far away. He was back in that arena in Milwaukee, on the night he accepted the GOP nomination. Music was pounding, the balloons were falling, the crowd was screaming, and all Il Douche had to do was to stand there and bask in the glory of it. I’ll fortify that thought with the fact that when El Pendejo ex Presidente finally left the stage, he went the wrong way! He went down the stairs and into the audience, the Secret Service had to corral him and hustle him out a side floor exit.
Both the Harris-Walz campaign as well as the media are feasting on this Golden Corral buffet of mental instability. The campaign has attempted to explain it away with excuses so lame that even Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol couldn’t get around on two crutches. Kamala Harris pounced within minutes of the town hall ending, Tweeting out saying that She sure hoped that Donald was OK. And at a rally today Tim Walz did a nice job of sarcastically hammering Trump’s performance, then bringing it back down to earth with the fact that this dotard wants to be President.
Last night may well turn out to be the ultimate October Surprise for the Trump campaign. They’re fobbing it off as a pre-planned Love Fest with his audience. But to the sane world, Trump came across as exactly what he is, a sad, broken, mentally ill old man. And that’s exactly what those remaining undecided GOP and independent voters are going to see. A mentally unstable dotard in the throes of senility. A silent thanks to those two unfortunate Trump supporters who passed out last night. You may have just cost Traitor Tot the election.

I agree, this should be end of him, but will it? He has always managed to come back from every career ending thing by pretending they just didn’t happen. Since none of the MSM is covering this, will the attack ads be enough?
It won’t end him. He is only the means of obtaining the votes “they” need to install JD Vance as the new permanent, minority, fascist “leader”. Those who have the “dark money” and created Project 2025. Get ready for the 25th Amendment.
why are we not getting updates on the coachella bus disaster? People were left behind in the desert. just want to know.
I read a few articles and the comments. It seems the buses were not paid to bring them back out and their gas was not paid for at all so they had very little gas and weren’t going to go fill up and get stiffed by orange menace again. The magats were over 2 miles from the parking lot and had to wait for the few (I read one bus, and I read three buses) to make the trip, 30 people at a time. They started with many more buses but they left or refused to drive without being paid. That is what I read. The comments were something else to read!
Maybe it’s prep for “guilty by reasons of insanity”?
I am not sure what time Kamala Harris had her Erie PA rally, but I do believe it was before he had his and that her little display of using his own words to show people what he said he would do to fellow Americans really got to him and threw him off his game. He wasn’t prepared for that. That’s my opinion at least. May not be what caused his little episode but he’ll bounce back.
And the national nightmare rolls on. Just think: had Repugnican representatives simply been honorable enough to do their sworn duty to the Constitution on 6 January/21, this entire horrible attack on our democracy would have ended right there and then. But no, they all followed corrupt Josh Hawley’s lead and voted against certification. They gave Trump the backing he needed. They are all just as guilty of treason as Trump is.
Even better, if at least a dozen Republican Senators had done THEIR job and declared Trump to be guilty in the second impeachment trial. Then, Trump would’ve been removed from office (by force, if necessary) and barred from ever holding elected office again. (And then, all the civil and criminal lawsuits could’ve proceeded completely unimpeded and Trump would have hopefully found himself wearing prison garb–that would’ve probably been a better fit than the suit he seems to wear all the time.)
Followed josh “howling in fear” hawley. What a person to follow to the can let alone for anything involving voting, vote certification, etc. That was one person I hoped the j-6 insane asylum inmates could have caught.

I cannot gainsay his argument. trump supporters think they have power: the power to anger non-trump voters. It is illusory at best and will completely vanish (if it even exists at all) after the Nov. election whether trump wins or loses.
However, I say this: let’s stop at least showing that they are angering us. Let’s just go to “wow, pretty weird” or “that’s so sad his family allows him to embarrass himself so”. When you ignore a child’s less than exemplary behavior, particularly that which they display for attention-getting purposes, the child usually stops the behavior. Let’s let V.P. Harris and Gov. Walz do their thing (Harris conducting her rallies with trump’s less than exemplary behavior up on a screen is working well) and let us pay attention to them, praise and support them publicly, and ignore the magats. It might not stop the magats from being magats but it will show any undecideds out there that these people are not worth paying attention to and maybe persuade the undecideds to decide for Harris/Walz; to side with the sensible folks.
I know one thing: I’m tired of being pissed off at the stupidity that is trump, vance, and the magats. They will not get any more intelligent regardless of whether I am angry or whether they are beneath my notice. Hopefully it sets a good example for those on the fence.

If you watch it after the second person passed out idiot boy made a joke of it . He said anyone else wantbto pass out? People will pass it off as a joke but it was so trumpian,a man surely with no compassion or feelings for anyone. He kept saying he wanted the music louder louder. Personally i think his hearing is going. Its a typical trump event the people who attend are screened and hand picked. Just like his rallies. Remember the rally in Atlanta after calling the black media “Hostile”? He had a black speaker,he hasnt had one since and blacks for trump behind him. They haven’t been seen either. I guess he just put them back in the closet until he needs them again.
