You know, it’s kind of funny how the worm can turn, and then turn again back on itself. How many times have you heard me extol the glories of The Bully Pulpit, allowing President Biden to get his message out as often as he wanted, while Trump, the presumptive nominee was largely ignored by the press, mostly because his speeches were incoherent rants.
Well, that Bully Pulpit appears to have bitten Biden in the ass instead of Trump. Let me explain. For the past year at least, every rally disguised as a policy speech, as well as at least portions of every rally speech have been covered live by most network news channels. Which meant that pretty much every misstatement, slur, or uncomfortable pause was caught on camera, and often broadcast. Which Trump, the RNC, and every GOP incumbent used to hammer Biden as a a doddering, infirm old man. Meanwhile, Traitor Tot was largely ignored, his incoherent word soup largely being played in snippets, for comic relief on the networks. A very pleasant one way street for Trump and the GOP.
Not anymore. It’s official, as of today Trump is now the oldest presidential candidate in US history. Trump is 78, and Biden was 77 when he ran in 2020. Not only that, but now, as the official GOP nominee for President of the United States, His Lowness is going to start getting some more air time under the Fairness Doctrine, whether he and the GOP want it or not.
As a result, especially after Labor Day, when most people finally start tuning in to politics, they’re going to be treated to a Cheeto Prophet smorgasbord of insanity like
- Electric planes that crash if it’s cloudy outside
- Fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter wanting to have you for dinner
- Brilliant dictators like Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping
- Choosing to be electrocuted by a wet electric boat battery rather than be eaten by a shark in a fresh water lake
- Trump saying that if he took off his suit jacket and shirt, people would see a beautiful, beautiful body, but with scars over every inch of his arms. Along with the spray tan line around the bottom of his neck
The attack ads write themselves. Start with a picure of Trump at a rally, with the voiceover saying Donald Trump wants a second term in the White Hose at the age of 78, then swing to a potpourri of his word salad and close with the voiceover, Does this sound like the kind of man who should have access to the nuclear football?
If I were Kamala Harris, I’d stay away from the age cracks, that’s what your vice Presidential candidate is for. She can stick with prosecuting El Pendejo ex Presidente’s criminal history. But every Democratic incumbent and candidate can whack him around like the orb in a game of pickleball to their hearts content.
And the media must be chomping at the bit. Trump has no choice but to give rally speeches, hell, he’s running for President. And every time Il Douche flies off the rails and into delirium. Not only is the Trump campaign spokesman, but every major MAGA incumbent like Mitch McConnell, Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and Mike Johnson are going to be quizzed by the media feeding frenzy about Trump’s fitness for office. Mark my words, by the time the end of September rolls around, Trump picking Goober Vance for his running mate isn’t going to be the only second guessing the GOP is going to be doing. They’ll be looking wistfully at the top of the ticket, and damning Biden to hell for waiting until it was too late for them before dropping out.
I must admit, during yesterday’s Harris appearance at campaign headquarters, when Biden told his staffers over the phone that I’m not going anywhere, I’ll be right out there on the campaign trail with Kamala, working like hell to get her elected, I got a hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach. Why put Biden out there and take the chance of another gaffe, allowing Trump and the GOP to turn attention back on him?
I quickly got over it for two simple reasons. First, Biden is still a useful asset in heavy union states like PA, MI and NV. His rally speeches will be scripted and on teleprompter, and whatever his faults, and unlike Traitor tot, Biden can nail a teleprompter speech every time.
Second, If Trumpelforeskin or his minions try shrowing sh*t at Biden, the Democrats can turn on a fan and blow it right back at Trump with a response like, When questions arose about President Biden’s mental fitness, he did the noble, selfless, patriotic thing and withdrew from the race. Candidate Trump is a convicted felon, wants to have dinner with Hannibal Lecter, get electrocuted by a wet boat battery, and has imaginary scars all over his arms. And he’s still in the race! Wazzup wit’ dat?
Trump and the GOP spent three long years coming up with an election strategy based solely on Biden’s age and mental infirmities. And with Trump’s increasingly visible signs of senility, as well as his incompetence and complete lack of a platform or agenda to talk about, the age issue will now be the number one issue confronting him. Bon appetit moron, and may I humbly suggest a little Cajun seasoning for that crow, and vanilla ice cream for that humble pie?

Age? Sorry but I have more of a problem with DON THE CON’S LYING, CONMAN, CORRUPTION, TWICE IMPEACHED, CONVICTED FELON, RAPIST & SEXUAL PREDATOR OF WOMEN & CHILDREN, INSURRECTIONIST TRAITOR, PUPPET OF PUTIN, AUTHORITARIAN MADMAN & DICTATOR WANNABE DREAMS this fucking age.
Unfortunately, our “liberal” media doesn’t present those issues. Nope, President Biden has a bad night at a debate and he becomes the target of a “Joe’s too old to be reelected” while completely ignoring the fact that Trump spread non-stop lies AND was viewed as WORSE by focus groups watching the debates.
Additionally, let’s look at how the primaries were handled. Trump was consistently failing to win at least 20% of the DIE-HARD GOP FAITHFUL who show up to vote in the primaries and the media hardly made an issue of that. President Biden’s biggest “opponent” in the primaries was “uncommitted” and the media consistently tried to hammer that a 10% “uncommitted” vote by the “Democratic faithful” was going to lead to a path to a Trump win. The thing that was most overlooked in that coverage was that the Democratic voters were largely “uncommitted” over a POLICY issue (seeing Biden as insufficiently supportive of Palestinian victims of Israel’s war against HAMAS) while the GOP voters on an “anyone-but-Trump” mission were voting against him over PERSONAL issues (many of the same ones that you listed).
And, of course, Trump’s faithful don’t care about any of the issues you mention. They might’ve cared back in 2016 that Trump had “fantasized” about running for the White House in 2012 until he was told/reminded he’d lose his only real money-maker, “The Apprentice” since he would be prevented from appearing on any episodes of the show as long as he was a candidate (even the mention of his name would be problematic).
Trumpelforeskin? The dude’s pushing 80 chronologically and physically and mentally far older. I’d like to try and revive a name I sometimes used ‘tRumpledforeskin.’ Probably (Brain Bleach alert!) like those pictures they show (or used to) in classes to troops in boot camps of diseased, ulcerated, oozing chancre encrusted peckers as a warning not to go having sex. Especially not with the gals for hire in town next to the base! “Melanie” probably swats his hand away because she’s afraid he didn’t wash his hands after taking a leak, knowing how nasty that thingy has become in his old age!
Murf, they DO SO have a platform, it’s like 20 bullet points. PLUS they have PROJECT 2025. Both of which will turn your stomach.

Newsflash–the nabobs, owners, ceo’s, etc. of the media outlets, last time I looked, still have a great deal of control over what gets printed, broadcast, etc. by their media outlets. They still have that and they still have a great desire to get those tax breaks and corporate welfare so they do not have to pay their fair share. I’m pretty fucking sure they will continue to give von shitzinpants a free ride and switch their derisive degradation over to V.P. Harris. It will be a different sort of degradation, but it will be bad for her campaign.
