The Furkids were keen to celebrate Ringo Starr’s 84th birthday this weekend because it gave them the purrfect opportunity to sing along to another Beatles song!

A Little Help From My Friends is a Lennon-McCartney song that features Ringo on lead vocals. But it’s doubly appropriate this weekend because the Furkids also wanted a song that would encourage everyone to work together to get out the vote! With a little help from all their friends, Democrats can pull off a big blue wave in November!

For the jukebox this weekend, the Furkids tell me they held a furr-raiser (I find it best not to ask for details but if you’re missing some loose change you had somewhere in the house or workplace, you now know what happened to it). Just press play then scroll down to the illustrated lyrics.

Furkids love the frothy milkshakes at ko-fi.com/furkids. They want you to know they love licking up their frothy moustaches. You can treat them to their favourite frothies for $3/€3/£3. All proceeds go towards Loula’s healthcare (she’s due for her annual vaccination next month but shhh 🤫, don’t tell her). Our heartfelt thanks to all contributors. 💝 💖 💝

  1. Michelle, we always need this to start our weeks. Seems like every week we need it more. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with these pick-me-ups!

  2. Oh, the joy of seeing all those wonderful faces! One of those photos has me asking my friends to come up with an answer to “how many cats does it take to change a light bulb?” 🤪😹
