Rounding out a bizzare week that started out in Las Vegas with drumpf ranting about sharks and boat batteries last Sunday and culminated yesterday with his weird “White Blacks for Trump” rally at a black church in Detroit…

…Twitterer Eric Champnella posted a brilliant mash up of off his rocker Trump and classic cinema which I call ‘Trump Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’.

To be sure, the deranged former (R)esident fits right in seamlessly with novelist Ken Kesey’s Nurse Ratched, Randle McMurphy and the rest of the gang – providing wholesome quality yucks for us all!

Thanks Eric!

Eric’s post did not escape Twitter pro Ron Filipowski’s roving eye:

For sure.

Here’s the YouTube link for those that don’t Twitter:

  1. Ken Kesey who wrote the book, worked in a facility in Oregon. During the transition from the Beats to the Grateful Dead LSD events in San Francisco, he and the Merry Pranksters painted a school bus in psychedelic colors, named it Further, and drove it across country to meet Timothy Leary in upper state NY. Neil Cassady, the antihero of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road, drove high on acid. Everyone on the bus took acid. They came up with an expression…you’re either on the bus or off the bus. The craziest people were not the ones mentally and emotionally stable enough to CHALLENGE THE SYSTEM at their own risk by taking acid. It’s the rest of you, too scared to experiment with your lives, and buying into corporate America’s lies and greedy pursuit of material wealth. We can laugh at the crazy, diaper wearing fascist…but let’s remember: OUR SICK COUNTRY ELECTED HIM PRESIDENT AND MAY DO IT AGAIN! So I ask: are you on the bus or off the bus? I admired and still do those with the guts to get on the bus, not the ones who go down well trodden paths trying to get rich so you can have a vacation home at the beach. Ken Kesey’s hero, Randle McMurphy, paid a heavy price for being himself, but he’s to be admired. It’s people like him that inspire others…to be themselves, instead of puppets trained to be consumers and willing to elect a clueless fascist because it’s less scary to have someone to ALWAYS tell you what to do and who to be.
As John Lennon sang in Working Class Hero, talking about America: you think you’re so classless, clever, and free…you still look like phucking peasants to me. So true John. We laugh at Trump, but he’s been the focus of our country since 2015…so who’s really crazy, US OR HIM????? Ken knew the answer.

  2. Kesey’s “other” book,, “Sometimes a Great Notion,” is an often overlooked gem. It is about logging in Oregon, at least set in that milieu. Paul Newman was in the movie, which was horrible and nothing like what the book was about. Ignore the movie, read the book. The way it was written is excellent and remains the only book I have ever read where when I finished the last page I immediately returned to the first page to link the entire thought process of the author. Superb, highly recommended, one book that’ll stay with you for a long time.

  3. A lobotomy only works if a brain can be found. CONVICTED FELON DON VON SHITZINPANTZ has a head full of piss, puss, and crap…not even 1 brain cell!
