Again, I remind you that it’s been said that Trump uses social media to process his emotions. He is clearly worried. And he must not have a living soul to talk to, or why would he be posting threats on a holiday evening, when everybody else is having a good time?
And I don’t think it’s a great idea for a defendant to be making the case that a viral young man like Jack Smith (or any prosecutor for that matter) should be “put out to rest.” Or maybe he was talking about Joe Biden and he can’t construct a sentence properly. But if he meant Smith, then this is just part of the normalization of abnormal and outrageous behavior. Trump needs to be called out on this.

Amazingly he’s speaking in code. I guess someone got through to him that it would be a really bad thing say what he wants, which is that Jack Smith should be put not to “rest” but to “death.” He’s incapable of a more flowery turn of phrase such as “will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest? (or instead of priest prosecutor) Being Trump, even if someone put the passage in front of him so he could copy it he’d leave off the preceding sentence of “Have none of you the courage that I lack?” Of course, for all his bravado about getting away with shooting someone on the street he doesn’t have the balls. Never did. If someone were to directly ask him why HE doesn’t do the deed to Smith himself he’d come up with all manner of excuses cause at heart he’s a coward. If he stood there he’d tremble, and Smith who has been threatened by people who could and would kill him if given the chance would take the gun from Trump’s hand, dump the bullets and shove it up his a$$!
I doubt TFG would shoot anyone. Not from ethics, but from an aversion to firearms. Various things I’ve seen over the years have led me to believe that, like bald eagles and mashed potatoes, he’s deathly afraid of firearms. Won’t touch em even for a photo op.

Your “… he [Trump] must not have a living soul to talk to …” touches on the idea he lacks the moral equipment to put the breaks on such behaviour because he has no inner daemon; no internal witness; no conscience that in sum would tell him to stop being the dick he is. He foolishly thinks he can hide behind his own social media platform nobody is critically looking at his pathetic narcissistic behaviour. Wrong. All he’s achieved is to transparently place himself on public display, under public scrutiny. His loss, not ours, because he’s made an indelible record of what he essentially is (a dick) and how he’s behaved towards others (a dickhead).
