21 Minutes, Three Tweets, Fox, and Trump; In the End, Trump Is Just a Slob

So, apparently it rained in D.C. on Sunday, or the fact that Melania got out of the hospital just on Saturday (questions unanswered there, btw), but something kept Trump inside on a weekend day (when no one will take his phone), and in possession of the remote. It took the man who believes the presidency is a “TV Show,” the same man with access to literally anything at the NSA and DIA, 21 minutes, to take the hook. Like a bass, he hit the spinner hard, 100% from a Fox and Friends’s story pointing to John Brennan as the “ringleader” in organizing this anti-Trump coup, as theorized by known quack John Bongino.

I just need everyone with a real life to understand something if they (you) don’t know this, Fox and Friends’ workers, even the anchors, don’t believe half the shit they peddle on a daily basis, and damn well knew this was nothing from the beginning. But, they convinced one reliable viewer, apparently the most reliable viewer they have. He then does even more damage to the image of the “presidency” as all-powerful, necessary, weighty, as he falls for a quack conspiracy theorist and three time loser for congress, story about John Brennan, one of the most serious, sober, respected icons of  the intelligence world alive today. Jesus, come on, man, just one day, just one day without demonstrating that a man-boy leads our nation into the 21st century.

And yet somehow, this is now accepted as normal. No, wait, it is not normal in the sense that an “Obama-like” president would come back to do it, but it’s normal with respect to Trump, which means it will be normal with respect to Republican office holders from now until they truly self-destruct.

Bongino’s rant, which the president tweeted out to his 52 million followers, is that Brennan “is the genesis of this whole Debacle. This was a Political hit job, this was not an Intelligence Investigation. Brennan has disgraced himself, he’s worried about staying out of Jail.”

Trump clearly typed this tweet, given the absurd capitalizations.

There is a “slob” factor to this presidency that has nothing to do with dress, manners or hygiene. He litters the executive branch with pettiness, shallowness, doubt, and we can’t have a fking Sunday – with rather few real events – without a fantastic and undeniable vandalism of the most respected office in the world.
