The lay of the land is getting more and more obvious as we go towards the November elections. The rank and file Republican running for office sees him or herself as a character in the Left Behind movie series. If you’ve never seen one of those gems, the world is very simply reduced to black and white religious stereotypes. Anything good that happens, “Praise Jesus.” Anything bad that happens, “Satan did it.”
Free will seems to have vanished entirely, along with common sense. We’re all dancing on the end of one puppet master or the other.
