I just love Truth Social. Another good name for it would be Daily Rorschach, because one thing it is absolutely good for is taking the temperature of Donald Trump. The meltdown started yesterday in Bedminster, as you know from Durrati’s piece here. Seems like a whole lotta media vans suddenly parked outside the E. Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse in Washington, D.C. yesterday afternoon. What’s that about, I wonder?

He’s this upset and he just hired a new criminal defense attorney last Wednesday. That was three business days ago. The man, John Lauro, must not be inspiring confidence in this client, if this is going on.

Well, if the magats are sending their insulin $$$ to former guy, and presumably other necessary Rx money, then they will be occupying a place on our planet’s surface for that much less time. I’m trying not to be hateful and all that but I cannot see a downside.
Why they wound send money to a guy who brags about being a billionaire has always escaped me. But they love them some Trump, that’s for sure.
He only managed to kill off a few hundred thousand of them with his Covid schemes. Insulin, and food money for kids seem the next logical thing.
Traitor Tot has the blood of ov over half a million Americans (maybe more!) on hinds for those who died from Covid because of his lies and his bald-faced theft of PPE from states who had ordered and paid for it! He needs to face at least 500,000 charges of Murder!!
The tragedy of that, was that Trump knew back in October that COVID existed and what the potential for destruction was. He chose to blow it off. Remember that video, “It will vanish one day, like magic.” No, it did not.
And Fox News denied the existence of COVID until mid-March of 2020 when it all hit the fan. God, what memories from that time.
Now we find his evil spawn, like RFK Jr., spewing lies about vaccines, already responsible for a measles outbreak that killed scores of children. Yet, this carnival side show of a cult will hand this evil traitor the gop nomination. Sometimes I feel like Sigourney, stuck on a space ship, with killer aliens in humanoid form.
I don’t like admitting when I’m wrong any more than the next person. That’s even more true when I REALLY have blown it. And getting suckered? That really REALLY hurts to admit even to myself much less to others. Still, I’m an old enough fart now to be able to look at a life of seeing people go to some serious extremes to avoid admitting they got taken in and played for a sucker. And been truly amazed at how far people will go to avoid admitting their mistake.
MAGAs take this to a whole new level. When you think about it, most of them could simply ratchet down the volume for a while before just shutting up eventually. After a while they could even without seeming sheepish/embarrassed adopt a “Well, DC needed an outsider to come in and shake things up there & hell, FDR & JFK were rich guys but did things that helped regular folks. So Trump didn’t turn out to be like them. Oh well” way of admitting having been a supporter. For damned sure they can stop sending money to him without having to admit to others they have gotten wise to Trump’s con.
