Donald Trump has always lived for the limelight. Well, now he’s got a searchlight on him and it won’t stop until he’s gone. Trump and siblings attempted for a second time to enjoin publication of niece Mary Trump’s tell-all book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” and it failed for a second time in a New York appellate court Wednesday. It’s now scheduled to be released the end of July. It’s already number one on the Amazon best seller list, bumping John Bolton’s book to number two. New York Times:

“The legitimate interest in preserving family secrets may be one thing for the family of a real estate developer, no matter how successful,” Justice Scheinkman wrote. “It is another matter for the family of the president of the United States.” […]
Theodore J. Boutrous Jr., a lawyer for Ms. Trump, said on Wednesday that he planned to file a formal appeal of the lower court’s ruling on Thursday.
“It is very good news that the prior restraint against Simon & Schuster has been vacated,” Mr. Boutrous said, “and we look forward to filing our brief tomorrow in the trial court explaining why the same result is required as to Ms. Trump, based on the First Amendment and basic contract law.
The remote controls are probably flying through the air at the White House as we speak. The book has got to be damning, as much effort as Trump and siblings have gone to to repress it. Maybe somebody should tell them about the Streisand effect.
I hope she makes millions on it.

I saw this story in a brief report from CNN and actually woke the dog and scared the cats because I was cheering so loudly. This whole “use the First Amendment” when it suits the purposes of Trump to be able to say any damned thing on Twitter, retweet any damned thing, no matter how offensive? Welp, turnabout is fair play and that is coming today when Boutrous files on First Amendment grounds so this BS can finally be put in the trash can and her book can be published. And this book? I wouldn’t buy Bolton’s book on principle–he should have testified; but her book I will buy. Happily.
Yep, bought and paid for from Barnes and Noble. I like to help them out as I give Amazon enough business. Bolton’s book, well, maybe I’ll borrow a copy but then again none of my friends are buying it either.

Can’t wait to read both of these books.. I know Bolton should have testified but that to me is water under the bridge and I feel its time to move on from it Just my opinion
Except that you can just get it for free anyway; so why pay him for it? And maybe we Dems have to stop just moving on from stuff that isn’t okay and hold folks accountable either with our dollars or our votes. Again, my opinion.
