You knew that El Caudillo de Mar-a-Lago would not remain silent forever after the latest New York Times bombshell about him financially eviscerating his unsuspecting supporters with near-invisible recurring charges language and a hidden “money bomb” doubling their donations. And you were right. Trump lashed back at his now-legendary enemy, the “failing New York Times” the dragon that blasts him with searing truths and whom he must turn upon, paunchy knight errant, cheeseburger in one hand, letter opener in the other, and defend himself. So here’s the result of that effort, reported by Raw Story:

“In yet another highly partisan story, the failing New York Times wrote a completely misleading, one-sided attack piece this weekend that tried to disparage our record-setting grassroots fundraising operation during the 2020 campaign. Except for massive voter fraud, this was a campaign that was easily won by your favorite Republican President, me!” Trump falsely claimed in a statement released by his Political Action Committee.

“Our support in 2020 was so big—never before seen (received more votes than any sitting President in history, by far), that it has become a major threat to the Democrat Party, which explains why the New York Times immediately rushed to defend their Radical Left allies,” Trump bizarrely argued after losing by 7,052,770 votes.

“Our fundraising efforts, working together with the Republican party, were all done legally, and all with the goal of ensuring that my Administration could continue to Make America Great Again. The Election on the other hand, was massively rigged and stolen—and now look what is happening to our Country, and in particular at our southern border,” Trump said, again repeating his “Big Lie.”

This is the New Bothsiderism, according to Trump. The way it goes, is that the left stole the election, how dare they and so that entitled Trump — encouraged him, even — to scam his supporters for money to fight the fraud, stop the steal, broil the burger, whatever he needed money for. So of course he scammed every penny he could. I mean, what else could he do? And there’s all those legal fees needed for all those awful D.A. cases, where he’s being harassed. But he gave the money back, right? And then they had the nerve to call it an interest-free loan. Like, what’s wrong with that? I mean sheesh, you can’t make these people happy no matter what you do.

  1. I think that the Orange Monster’s campaign learned from the tactics Microsoft used to trick people to get them to install WinSpy 10 on their computers when they really didn’t want to.

    • I avoided that – but I notice that upgrading anything from Adobe involves unchecking the boxes that would install other software that you don’t want.

  2. I wonder how many people read those multiple pages of side effects that come with each new designer drug, you know all those cutesy named things in the commercials … some are so bad they have release notices on the tube when the commercials run, and again in fine print that cannot be read before they are somehow, somewhere whipped off the screen so soon you might not even notice them in the first place …

An example that got me … back in 1997, I had a heart attack, my heart doctor prescribed the latest monster drug – Lipitor – it was the BIGGEST new drug, good for many things, especially the drug makers bank accounts.

I managed to overlook a sentence on the second page of such fine print, I considered dragging out an old microscope I had to even read it … packed into a single spaced reduced line spacing jumbo of letters …:
Lipitor may cause a serious, but rare side effect of joint pain and muscle weakness, which can be permanent.

My next door neighbor had that side effect, I had that side effect, our friend living 1 hour drive away had it as well, so much for rare side effects, even now, after years of not using Lipitor, and having found and read that line back then … if I get down on the floor, I can’t jump up like the old days, in fact I cannot get up unless I have something to climb up on with my hands … a current problem with my shoulder joints has made that very difficult …

ANY sign up donation site has second choices like make it monthly, leave a tip and so on, so it is prudent to understand just what is happening there … and make sure to opt out by selection before the bills com rolling in … hiding that info with slick artwork and text is options used by Trump and his friendly PAC, because they are criminally insane …

  3. JFC. He is such a pathetic loser. He’s not going to stop with the bullshit, till the day he dies and there is a major chunk of the populace that wishes that is much sooner than later. He’s like an old non-stop record player that we wish would just break, and give us some silence. Continuing to be a pretend president, is just pitiful.
