Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Of all the things that Trumpty Dumpty could debate in earnest with Joe Biden, he picks this bit of trivia. Here’s the backstory: At CPAC last weekend, Trump made a comment which confused a number of people. He was talking about his wife, who was so popular and then he mentioned “Mercedes.” Here’s where it gets odd: many people understood Mercedes to refer to Mercedes Schlapp, one of the co-organizers of CPAC. But then there were others who took that to mean that Trump was calling Melania “Mercedes.” So then Joe Biden discussed this with Seth Myers last night and here’s the blowback.

Now here’s the irony: if this comment was made on a “poorly rated show” than nobody heard it, right? But if Trump puts this on Truth Social and Twitter, then lots and lots of people are going to hear, so how does this serve Trump’s purpose.
And here’s something else to consider: maybe some of this rage is due to the fact that Melania doesn’t want Trump to talk about her anymore. Maybe she just wants to stay out of the limelight. I think that’s a safe assumption to make, because she could be in front of a camera all day, every day if she wanted to. She clearly chooses not to be.
What crossed my mind is that here is the former leader of the free world (tragic but true) who seeks to be in that role once again and he sounds like a five-year-old. If that. And what makes that even more ridiculous still is that even Melania made a crack about Trump’s immaturity. It was back when the grab ’em by the pussy remark was made and Melania characterized it as “boy talk” and said she had two little boys at home, Barron and her husband.
And in all truth, there are women that think that’s normal. They marry childish men and never think that maybe that makes more of a statement about them to call the men babies, than it does about the babyish men themselves.
So baby Trump is miffed!! WAAAHHHH!! He’s going to throw sand at Uncle Joe, next time he has a chance!! And maybe a golf ball!! Or a club!! So there!!!
What an infantile idiot. But this, ladies and gentlemen, we are told is the man who has changed the face of the Republican party into a vision all his own. I’m glad I’m not a Republican, because as horrified as I am as a Democrat, if I had ever been a Republican and I was reading news that this infantile creature had taken over my party, I would simply flip.
Somehow the GOP managed to die and this creature filled the vacuum of leadership. He can’t even lead a family owned business without disaster but he is leading one of the two major political parties in America.
You wonder why our allies are skittish these days?
Projection pure and simple. He has offered so much gobly guke as discourse, it’s clear it’s a cult that doesn’t give a rat’s ass about lies versus truth. Jimmie Kimmel’s show offered a stark example by going over his covid suggestion of light up your ass, paying off a porn star and avoiding service by a false excuse of bone spurs, but, at first, saying Biden said and did these things. To a person they said he was demented, morally corrupt and a traitor unfit for the office. When they revealed it was actually Trump, THEY ALL IMMEDIATELY STARTED MAKING EXCUSES!!!!! Folks we may be facing a fascist takeover given the corrupt culture we live in. I, for one, hope we end it with a vote since THE LAW WILL NOT PROTECT US, AS IS CLEAR…that being said, I will not live under a Trump dictatorship. Take that to the bank and prepare for a revolution. I took an oath as a vet, and I’m a student of history. 600,000 boys died in the Civil War, with the northern troops dying to save the Union. They died with guns in their hands. Draw your own conclusions. VOTE!!!!
Trump will react to the slightest dig (real or perceived).
Maybe the Dems could use this tactic to slowly drive him insane.
I don’t think he mis-named his wife (though I remember hearing him call her “Melenie” in a speech way back). However, is him getting distracted by whatever or whomever he sees much better?
