…will doubtless prompt a flurry of new GOP talking points pointing out the need for hardened rooftops and ladder control.
“Listen” said Republican Senator Ed Bruise of Texas, “if people didn’t leave their ladders just laying in alleys where bad guys can use them to shoot folks, we wouldn’t have this problem.”
When it was pointed out that the ladder in question was built onto the side of the building, and the shooter used a gun to murder people, Bruise replied…
“Then fire escapes should be outlawed, they obviously pose a danger to the public. And we need to harden rooftops. Anti-personnel mines placed on top of every building in America would solve this problem. The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a ladder is a good guy with a Claymore.”
Questioned whether mining every rooftop in the nation might not prove prohibitively costly, Bruise answered quickly –
“At what point do we think that the price for exercising our 2nd Amendment rights is too expensive? The founders obviously intended for every citizen to have access to semi-automatic weapons for gopher shooting, so we must bear the price of this freedom. The gun-manufacturers of this great nation did not contribute millions to my campaigns so that I would allow folks to willy-nilly leave ladders lying around and evade the cost of positioning armed guards on their roofs.”
Noticing that the reporter was eyeing him with some disbelief, Bruise continued…
“If we cannot afford to protect ourselves from our God given right to purchase any weapon we want, at anytime we want, then perhaps we should just stay in our houses. Particularly on Election Day. Me and mine and our security detail will go to Cancun or the Bahamas in the meantime…

Maybe if these evil cult members showed at a GOP fundraiser or a NRA meeting, then maybe the dead bodies chewed up by AR-15s would have more impact. Killing innocents doesn’t seem to matter to this cartel.

Well, it’s not going to happen because you can damn well be sure that a GOP fundraiser or an NRA meeting will not allow firearms in their “sensitive” areas. The NRA–for years (even before Trump’s little NRA visit)–has posted signs barring guns from many areas of their convention facilities, and not just when they’re in venues that don’t permit firearms (kind of funny how the NRA so frequently picks venues that prohibit firearms in many areas).
And while no GOPer is going to call for gun control or accept the idea that private businesses should be able to bar people from wielding firearms, there won’t be a single GOP fundraiser where participants are going to be allowed to wield firearms (not openly and certainly not concealed). They might raffle off a firearm but they certainly won’t let loaded firearms be in the area.
Well, that’s the thing isn’t it? You have s.c. “justices” who just weakened to the point of uselessness any and all protections for citizens from at least some of the murderous idiots, who ALSO whine and bitch about protesters at their homes. (in a supremely whiny voice) The police HAVE to do their jobs and protect us–mind you, in the Castle Rock decision these f*cking hypocrites ruled police do NOT have to protect ANYONE. I would guess, 100% accurately I’m sure, these same whining political hacks would sh*t themselves if ANY of those protesters showed up at these protests packing.
I WISH protesters would show up in front of these whiny cowards and make them feel the way we do–like they have targets on their backs. And given their asinine decisions, that is not the worst idea ever.
Until NRA meetings, former guy bitch sessions, s.c. political hack speeches, ‘pube conventions, CPAC meetings, etc. face what the innocents in our society face, absolutely nothing will be done…unless you consider thoughts and prayers actually doing something. They make good and damned sure THEY’RE protected although why on earth anyone would protect piles of sh*t I’ve no idea.
Oh, one other possible solution: getting all the ‘pubes out of public office and replacing them with people who not only want to protect those citizens (i.e. US) from violence but who also want to make good and damned sure we don’t turn this country into a x-tian taliban nation.
