While the Twelve Days of Catmas traditionally begin on Catmas Day, the Furkids prefer their Twelve Days to begin twelve days before Catmas. If you missed the first one, you can find it here:
First Day of Catmas

If you’re familiar with the ways of the Furkids, you’ll know that they bring their own unique perception to the world, including music, and Catmas songs are no exception. This is why their Second Day isn’t quite turtle doves… well you’ll see what I mean when you get to it.

    • Oh Mina, it’s so lovely to see you! I’ve been so busy with this that I have a heap of your posts to catch up on – and I will because I LOVE them! I love the ideas you have and your gentle, sweet humour. I love that we each have our own unique styles and together we double the furkid loveliness here!

  1. {{{Michelle}}} LOL – of course the Furkids would think of turtles when you sing turtle. Even if the next word is dove. Cats especially pounce on the first thing that moves. In this case it’s the 1st word. Thank you and the Furkids for this Catmus treat. Healing Energy & moar {{{HUGS}}}

  2. I had to add “friends” for the syllable count and they were very happy with that. They have an innate rhythm so they understood why the syllable count was ‘portant. I’m so ridiculously happy you nudged me into doing this last year because I really really enjoy it! I’m already thinking about next year’s!
