He didn’t like a military recruitment ad and started throwing out terms like “emasculated” — well, okay, let’s be fair: Ted Cruz should know about emasculation. This is the guy who let Donald Trump call his father an assassin and his wife a dog and then proceeded to phone bank for him and otherwise toady and kiss his ass.
So it comes as little surprise that Cruz would go bonkers and share a macho macho man version of a military ad — from Russia no less. And is that lapse in judgement hitting the fan, ho boy.

Now you are being silly. The allusion to Pravda as untruth is very common English. There is no need to know that in
Russian, the word is ironic, even parody, as the name of a newspaper. It is a bad faith argument that relies on equivocation. If Biden had used the same allusion to refer to a source of untruth, suddenly you would have no problem with it. To be clear, this is not a defense of Cruz. We should confine our criticism to real criticisms of which there are plenty. We do not have to manufacture them in bad faith. In fact, bad faith criticism is counter-productive because it give the target a reason to discount even valid criticism.
