I just read an article which says Georgie Porgie Santo is ready to “martyr” himself to protect the identities of the three people who put up his 500k Bond.   So far they’ve remained anonymous but not for lack of effort on the part of others to find out who’s bankrolling him.  After all, if he’s sitting in a jail cell that’s one less vote McCarthy has.  Here’s something to think about – some in the GOP that might have been fearful of consequences of voting for the debt deal have learned something important.  Which is that the Free-DUMB Caucus KKKrazies can’t convince Jeebus and God to strike them dead by lighting for cooperating with Democrats and that my friends might mean more stuff that needs doing might get done.

Kinda makes you wonder if that money didn’t come from certain PACs, like MTG’s, or Gaetz’s or perhaps Gaetz’s rich daddy put up a big chunk of the cash.  It’s shady as hell, but Santos is just another word for corruption so it’s no wonder whoever those three are they’ve been fighting tooth and nail to convince the judge to keep their names secret.

Now we have a new twist.  George Santo claims these “totally honest, really wonderful people that expect NOTHING in return for helping him out” are in danger of getting fired, or harrassed, and even at risk of DEATH if their names are revealed.  Being such a “very fine and totally upstanding person himself” he can’t in good conscience have that!   As a result he’s swearing if it take him going to jail to protect the identities of his benefactors then well, that’s a price that will have to be paid.  For the second time in the past week I find myself thinking of Comedy Central’s South Park and this:

I say call his bluff.  I hope the judge does exactly that.  Even if it’s only a day or two before Santos cries “uncle” and begs for those people or someone to bail him out the sight of McCarthy and the rest of the GOP losing their collective sh*t will be priceless.   Trump being indicted by the feds, Santos hauled off to jail, more GOPers entering the race and taking shots at Trump who will hit back.  With everything else going on, wouldn’t it be funny if McCarthy and the rest of the GOP wind up deciding Santos isn’t worth the trouble and let him just sit in jail?

Stay tuned.  This could be fun to watch

  1. Would it be the men’s or women’s prison? Has he settled on a gender while carrying his proverbial cross?

  2. I think he knows he’s going down and pre-trial detention counts against whatever sentence he eventually receives. So, in effect, he wants to start now working off his time. Plus, I bet his “benefactors” bailed him out with the promise they would not be named. I believe his lawyer said at least one of his original funders pulled out and left them scrambling to find another rube with bucks to help make bail. By now, McCarthy has figured out how to work around the free-dumb caucus and knows the dems will bail him out if it’s in their interest. Jail/prison is where Santos belongs, so the judge should take him up on his offer and cart his lying behind off to hoosegow now.

  3. Knowing the company he keeps, the mystery money men could very well be “made” guys and he would rather go to prison than risk being fitted for a pair of cement shoes.

  4. Being the psycopath he is, if Santos did go to jail, he would simply emerge a martyr in his on mind and try to blame everybody but himself. After all, he is just a cheap, foreign-made knock-off of the Dumpf, but with better hair.
