There are plenty of reasons to be cynical and snarky about Jared and Ivanka in any context. Neither Jared nor Ivanka deserve our sympathies. Indeed, one could argue that of all Trump administration staffers, Jared was the butcher, becoming best buddies with MBS and the guy who said COVID was a blue state problem and left people to die in New York City, his hometown.

So no one is going to cry about rumors that a divorce is looming at the same time that Ivanka is being pushed out of the Trump inner circle. According to Queerty:

“It’s all falling apart,” a source told Radar this week. “They’re always fighting and can barely contain their growing animosity for each other even when they appear in public.”

There have been other reports indicative of problems. Page Six reported earlier this month that something seemed wrong between the two:

A seagoing source was surprised to notice the frosty vibe, telling us, “I never saw them interact. They stood in the same group, but almost as acquaintances.”

They added, “As they moseyed around the party, they kept their distance [from each other] — never too close; never too far apart.”

Whoever is leaking the news (It could come from within the Trump family for all we know) seems to know a lot of details, such as the fact that the troubles started almost immediately after the 2020 loss and especially after January 6th, 2021. Trump surely lays some blame for the loss on Jared and, as much disdain as one should have for “Kush,” there has been no evidence that he was involved in January 6th. Jared may have already had deals set up for a post-presidency world and perhaps wasn’t going to risk prison.

Back to Queerty:

They still have grand ambitions and consider themselves card-carrying power brokers. But Jared knew if Ivanka continued to stand by her dad, all of his big business connections would go out the window.”

Well, you are what you eat. If Jared can pull in $2 billion from the Kingdom’s trust, that would seem to indicate that he still has considerable power, especially in the Middle East. Ivanka? No. It is hard to see Ivanka taken seriously anywhere outside the ability to manipulate her father. This leads us to another interesting point. Ivanka has firmly stated that she’s staying out of politics, period, which has led the rest of the family to push her out of the inner circle:

According to Radar, after choosing to sit out her dad’s latest bid for the White House, even members of Ivanka’s immediate family have started to sour on her.

“Ivanka has been declared persona non grata by all the other Trumps,” a source says. “And she’s begun to have regrets. She didn’t sign up to be a pariah in her own family.”

Well, she didn’t sign up to be a Trump, either. She was just born that way. But her decisions along the way to be a major player in dad’s businesses are going to hang around her neck while the company is investigated.

What does all this mean? One would be tempted to say, “Not much, not to me anyway. They made between $172 to $640 million while in the White House. They’ll be fine parting ways.” (It is irresponsibly reported that the two made $640 million while in the White House. It’s terribly inaccurate. The answer lies within that gap, which is still absurd, without a doubt.) Jared will certainly be financially secure. Ivanka may face the same problems that every Trump Organization officer faces. Of course, she’ll also get a wonderful divorce settlement.

Most importantly, it sounds as though both of them, but especially Jared, will have every reason to save themselves, first, by providing information to the investigators and seeking the best terms for themselves if they’re interconnected at all. Perhaps it’s already happening. There were reports that the FBI Search Warrant indicated that someone very close to Trump was providing information.

Who knows? Who cares? About Jared and Ivanka? None at all. About the dynamic as to pending “problems,” well – it could get interesting.

  1. Thieves hang together until the shit hits the fan. The question is if they had wax figures of themselves made, and stood still next to them, could we tell the difference? I don’t know if karma is a bitch or a bastard…in their case…both.

  2. They 100% deserve each other. If they fight, it should be made public for anyone who wants to see, after what they both have put this country through.

  3. Jarvanka got first-rate DC White Collar legal representation even before Trump slithered into the WH. Of course, Jared being Jar Jar couldn’t help himself and wound up pissing off one of the best lawyers in DC, one who him and Trump’s obsession (Ivanka) bipartisan credibility. Jamie Gorelick got sick of Jared’s shit and dumped him but she set Jarvanka up with another awfully good DC lawyer. Unlike Trump they paid their legal bills so from the outset there’s been a weird dynamic at play in the Trump family. I have no doubt that when Trump has been under fire (not reaction to some dumbass tweet but real hard looks at his actions) a lot of “stink eye” has gone back and forth.

Trump as we know will throw anyone under the bus including the woman he’s most obsessed with fucking (has been since she was very young), wannabe Princess Ivanka. And, as you note she has been masterful in her ability to manipulate him. But her and her own hubby set things up so give themselves some cover – both Jared and Ivanka knew Trump might blow up and they wanted a bomb-suit just in case. The part of Trump that sometimes thinks clearly knows this so as I said there’s been a weird dynamic in play for years.

I for one have zero doubt both Jared and Ivanka would throw Trump under the bus to save their own ass as quickly as Trump would do it to either of them. Now we have the interesting possibility that instead of “Jarvanka” being ready and (if it came to it) willing to throw Trump under the bus, they are looking at throwing each other under the bus! Oh, what a tangled web… Could it be that for some time now each has, rather than the regular “Jarvanka vs. Trump” thing ALSO been secretly planning for their own internal fight to toss the other under the bus? To do it to the other one before the other one does it to them?
    Stay tuned folks.

    • Yeah. I did a story on that here and I thought it would generate a lot of questions/views/comments. For some reason, very few cared. But I cared bc Elon is a dangerous guy, Jared is a dangerous guy, and combining Musk’s “peace plan” for Putin (and calling Putin), then showing up in the Middle East with Jared, I have a lot of questions.
