And now it is starting to make perfect sense that the price of not having documentation like this being publicly dragged through the streets in the Dominion trial was worth $787.5 million. Tucker Carlson being a racist is no surprise. But him rooting for three white guys to kill an “Antifa kid?” Which, I’m sure we’re correct in presuming is a POC? This story in the New York Times says that Carlson didn’t identify the race of the victim under attack. So what is an “Antifa kid” exactly?
The text alarmed the Fox board, which saw the message a day before Fox was set to defend itself against Dominion Voting Systems before a jury. The board grew concerned that the message could become public at trial when Mr. Carlson was on the stand, creating a sensational and damaging moment that would raise broader questions about the company.
The day after the discovery, the board told Fox executives it was bringing in an outside law firm to conduct an investigation into Mr. Carlson’s conduct.
The text message added to a growing number of internal issues involving Mr. Carlson that led the company’s leadership to conclude he was more of a problem than an asset and had to go, according to several people with knowledge of the decision. In other messages he had referred to women — including a senior Fox executive — in crude and misogynistic terms. The message about the fight also played a role in the company’s decision to settle with Dominion for $787.5 million, the highest known payout in a defamation case.
A representative for Mr. Carlson said he had no comment.
The text is part of redacted court filings and its contents were previously unreported. The contents of the text were disclosed in interviews with several people close to the defamation lawsuit against Fox. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a message that is protected by a court order. In public filings, it remains hidden behind a block of black text.
Here’s the bottom line: there was discussion about whether the redacted version should be presented to a jury. And the judge had the capacity to order that an unredacted version be presented. And you can imagine what a jury would have thought of this.
So…being born a white male, into a fortune, attending private schools, becoming more rich and famous, didn’t make his heart any bigger. Never measure your wealth in terms of money son. Your poverty is now inside and outside. What was the American dream exactly?
‘I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it.’ And if Tucker wasn’t such a sociopath, he WOULD be bothered by it. All those ‘shoulds’ in that that exhibit certainly expose something very fundamental. Tucker’s lost his connection to humanity.

The only reason Murdoch would fire Tucker, is he hurt his ego, at some point Tucker said FK MURDOCH, for some reason……and it got back to Murdoch. He would not be fired for lies, racism, or homophobia….

Tucker doesn’t like being called a racist. I don’t really understand what his definition of racist could be. But I can tell you how you would determine what a fascist is in mathematical terms. -1 x -1 = +1 thus Anti x anti fascist = fascist.
For what it’s worth, even without knowledge of Carlson’s text, Fux knew he was a race baiting fear-monger, and did nothing to dissuade his behavior. IMO, while revelation of that text to a jury, if the Dominion case had gone to trial would have been costly for Fux, the revelation that Carlson experienced a flicker of self doubt or even humanity would have been even more disastrous to the Fux brand.
