Oh wait, that was Matt Schlapp. Well, it appears that Matt Schlapp has a clone, or maybe an understudy in Florida, because now another head honcho in the GOP down there has been accused of the same crime. A woman in Florida is alleging that the current leader of the state GOP raped her early last month. What’s really ironic here is that Christian Ziegler, is not only a Republican, he’s also in tight with Moms For Liberty. And did we mention that the comically named “Christian” also engaged in kinky sex? That’s according to a heavily redacted investigation report filed by Sarasota police, the Daily Beast reports.
The unidentified woman told police she, Ziegler, and his wife Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler had been involved in a “longstanding consensual three-way sexual relationship prior to the incident,” according to the Florida Center for Government Accountability (FLGCA), which obtained the report.
Sources told the watchdog group the alleged assault happened in the woman’s home and that Bridget Ziegler wasn’t there at the time.
The publicly released and heavily redacted version of the document doesn’t include names, addresses or any other identifying information. However, a story published by the FLGCA named Florida Republican Party Chairman Christian Ziegler as the subject of the probe, NBC News has confirmed.
An investigative supplement attached to the report is almost completely censored, and really the only text that isn’t redacted in the report are the words: “the sexual assault complaint,” and, “said the sexual assault allegation.” In other parts of the report the words “stated” and “raped” can be seen.

As if the woman’s allegation wasn’t bad enough, Ziegler also reportedly recorded the woman during threesomes with him and his wife — without her consent, sources told the FLGCA.
Additionally, police have also searched a cell phone that belongs to the GOP chairman.
Ziegler’s attorney, Derek Byrd said in a statement Thursday that his client has been “fully cooperative” with investigators. Byrd said he believes his client will be “completely exonerated.” He cautioned that rushing to judgment isn’t a good idea and argued that “public figures are often accused of acts that they did not commit whether it be for political purposes or financial gain.”
Ziegler maintains close ties to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump, who recently thanked Ziegler in a speech at the Florida Freedom Summit earlier this month.
“I want to thank a man that has done a fantastic job, the state party chair, christian ziegler, wherever you may be,” Trump said. “there are a lot of people out here. he has been really fantastic.”
And of course, we already know about Bridget Ziegler, who’s about as transphobic as anyone gets, since she avidly backs book bans in public schools nationwide and provides all kinds of support to DeSantis to help pass his ridiculous “Don’t Say Gay” law.
Now that Ziegler is facing this revolting allegation, Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried has stepped up and is calling for him to step down and excoriated the couple for their “stunning” hypocrisy.
“Christian Ziegler can’t possibly continue to lead the florida gop under these conditions,” she said in a statement. “given the severity of the criminal allegations, i’m calling for his immediate resignation. as for the more salacious allegations — what happens behind closed doors is christian and bridget’s personal business.”
Fried then said the quiet part out loud: “That being said, I do find it interesting that two people who are so obsessed with banning books about gay penguins might be engaged in a non-traditional sexual relationship.”
Indeed. How hypocritical of these two to penalize the LGBTQ+ community and then turn around and allegedly do these things.
And it’s not surprising these two are Trump supporters. They are obviously following in his footsteps, after all.
If these people didn’t have hypocrisy, they’d have no moral values at all.

It seems to me, that a LOT of political frays are caused by certain peoples hiding something in their past, OR present, what would happen if all the diggers of the facts, took a day off?

What COSENTING adults do in the privacy of their homes/bedrooms is no one’s business but there own as far as I’m concerned. And while it’s something I’ve never experienced three-way sex isn’t “kinky” – lots of people have done things like that and again if all are willing participants then all I can say is that I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Where I’ve got a problem though is these super-duper religious types insisting that people practice “traditional” sex. A man and a woman. Sometimes they are even extreme with stuff like “only for procreation” and for damned sure nothing but straight up “missionary position” sex. Yet for all their preaching they engage in all manner of sexual stuff themselves! It’s the hypocrisy that galls me.
Often when I hear these people moralizing about sex and touting their “traditional only” line I can’t help but think of Shakespeare’s “Methinks thou dost protest too much.”
I guess I thought sexual assault was a bare minimum requirement for male ‘pubes running for election to public office.

And as for filming her with out her consent,it is illegal in every state especially if you can be I.D. ed If it doesn’t rise to.A criminal.case, you can sue for invasion of privacy.
