The abdication of responsibility by one of the two major political parties in this country has led to a meltdown of norms and values, not to mention some pretty crazy spectacle. What you’re about to see comes under that heading. And it all started with the GOP normalizing the abnormal, namely putting Donald Trump on the 2016 ticket.

It is a strange world that we live in when we don’t know if somebody is on the level or a troll, but here we are again.

You decide if this real.

I honestly cannot tell. This is right on the dividing line where it could be psychosis or it could be satire.

Here is some evidence it could be real.

Apparently it is both satire and psychosis. Here’s the same guy trying to make light of his words.

This is unfortunately what happens when social tolerance becomes threatening to people. This man’s life is not affected in the slightest by anybody else’s sexual identity. But somehow the fact that other people have an identity that may differ from his is an enormous threat. I do not pretend to understand it. I just know I’ve seen it my entire life. This is the kind of mentality that leads to tragedies like the young man who was murdered and found tied to a tree in Laramie, Wyoming.

    • I think this guy is a graduate of the University of You Tube and doesn’t know what’s real or not. Those tapes were weird, especially where he was threatening to shut down the Motel 6. That reminded me of Dr. Strangelove, where General Ripper is talking about the pre-verts. You remember that? Same level of being unhinged.

    • I wonder if anyone who was “tricked” into a snipe hunt but knew their shit was prepared – and turned the joke back on the pranksters by presenting a snipe they’d managed to trap. The various species of bird that fall into the Snipe category are after all found pretty much throughout North America.

  4. Well, if this idiot is trying to claim it was all a joke because “non-binaries . . . is not a real thing,” then maybe it needs to get out and chat with some real people.

    Singer Demi Lovato is a fairly high profile “non-binary” individual (they publicly came out as non-binary nearly a year ago) as is singer Sam Smith (they came out as non-binary nearly 3 years ago). And there are plenty of others who identify as “genderfluid” (Miley Cyrus and Cara Delevingne identify as such) or “genderqueer” (such as comic book writer Grant Morrison).

    You just gotta be willing to open your mind (of course, you’ve got to HAVE a mind to open in the first place) as well as expand your horizons.

  5. I know several non-binary people and three transwomen. They are quite real. This guy lacks knowledge and tolerance.
    Somebody please explain to.me how someone else’s gender identity been or sexual orientation hurts others. At worst you.might have to politely turn down a pass. My theory is these men ( and it is usually men) are afraid non-binary,,trans people and gays and lesbians will treat them the way they treat women.
