When the truth is shown, to be lies, and all of the joy within you dies. — Jefferson Airplane

In case nobody told you, it’s going to be a long, hot, Qrazie Qrackpot summer. It got kicked off this weekend at the Faith and Freedoms Conference in Dallas, and a few weeks from now it will move on to Wisconsin, where Mike Lindell is going to put Trump on a jumbotron screen, so that he can look exactly like Big Brother as he preaches fascism to the crowd. That is not hyperbole, that is sadly exactly where we are.

Sidney Powell is sending some interesting mixed messages these days. You recall her disclaimer back when Dominion sued her, that no “reasonable person would have believed her?” Apparently she thinks that that is a cloak for all of her sins, because she’s back talking the Qrazie talk about Trump regaining office. Right-o.

What’s that you say? Where is her legal precedent? What section of the constitution covers the reinstatement of a one term president who lost reelection by 7,000,000 votes? What the hell is she talking about? Oh, how we wish we had answers.

As laughable as this is, don’t doubt for a moment its corrosive effect. This self-serving, grifting lunacy is indoctrinating people to believe that the truth is lies, that the truth of Joe Biden winning the election didn’t really happen, that they can’t trust the evidence of their own eyes and ears. That is what Donald Trump is going to be telling his supporters on a big telescreen, looking and sounding just like Big Brother.

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

The Party of “1984” is today’s GOP. You’re supposed to not only overlook the election results, you’re supposed to turn a blind eye to the riot in the Capitol and pretend that that was a tourist visit. Don’t believe what you see, believe what they told you you saw.

Get ready, it’s going to be like this all summer. The country is coming out of pandemic quarantine, so expect things to be wild.

  1. Back in the 60s a group of folks in San Francisco wanted to dump barrels of LSD, made by owlsly (sp?), into the water supply. Guess who talked them out of it? Timothy leary, who said they didn’t have the right to alter someone’s consciousness without their knowledge or permission. Capitalism & the powerful rich respect no such rules. Probably should have done it. Nothing like having your assumptions & ingrained, culturally trained perceptions & beliefs kicked to the curb. Most are too terrified to get out of the mental easy chair. When Kurt Vonnegut asked a fellow writer, who had been in the SS, what the Germans’ tragic flaw was, he said ‘obedience’. Blind obedience. A major ingredient of mass evil.

  2. She’s afraid of losign her law licenses over these insane claims.
Also, look at all those sponsor’s badges on her vest!
