You didn’t have to be Nostradamus to predict that this was going to happen. Marjorie Taylor Greene is out to get Maxine Waters, because it gives her something else to talk about besides her gun fetish and her alliance with Matt Gaetz. Here’s her proclamation from the steps of the Capitol. (yawn)

“Crossing state lines” is not a crime, last I knew. But it sounds good, it’s a talking point, because that’s what was said about Kyle Rittenhouse, and in his case, the fact that he was a minor and in illegal possession of firearms was germane to the case. But never mind that. This is all bluster and counter culture fever. That’s what it is and that’s what it’s meant to be, political theater all the way.
She could caretake the space lasers and prevent forest fires, just like Smokey the Bear. That would work.

She’s living in a different universe, since she thinks cities burned down last year in widespread rioting. I know she’s not going to learn, but you would think she could tell that Auntie Maxine wasn’t talking to the RWNJs like her.
What I love more than this is the fact that McCarthy wants to censure Waters. He won’t go near Matt Gaetz, but Maxine is a whole other kettle of fish. It’s okay if you’re a Republican, take infinity.

I want to know when those investigations will start to bear fruit? You know, the ones into the actions of certain congress critters during the insurrection? Some of these need to be concerned about the justice dept. coming after them, not going after others.

Do you find it interesting that Donald Trump can be impeached for saying “go over and peacefully protest” but Maxine Waters says “get confrontational” and “get in their faces” and nothing happens to her. What is the standard?
He didn’t say it quite that way as I recall, and in any case using the word peaceful ONE time in a long, long rambling rant filled with plenty of incendiary language that added to what was said by others doesn’t cancel out Trump’s incitement of a riot. Or his resistance to responding to it. And when he was FINALLY talked into calling off his mob stroking them with praise.
