There has been some sparring this week between Michael Avenatti and Rudy Guiliani. And Avenatti is kicking Guiliani’s ass, if you ask me.
On Tuesday, Avenatti sent out this tweet:
I think it would be very helpful for the public to witness a discussion between Mr. Giuliani and me concerning the facts of the case, etc. I am willing to participate on any network provided both sides are provided a fair shake. I am also willing to do it on 12-hrs notice.

Then, Guiliani fired back with, “I don’t get involved with pimps. The media loves to give him room because he makes these roundabout charges and they turn out to mean nothing. I think he’s going to get himself in serious trouble.”
In response, Avenatti posted a video from 2000 of Giuliani dressed in drag performing a skit for the then-mayor’s Inner Circle Press Roast.
Hey Rudy – It turns out I’m not the only “pimp” you have experience with. History evidently is repeating itself. #pimped #bastahttps://t.co/YUmzf0c2oT

But Guiliani is not biting. As reported by Politico:
“I don’t debate people like him. I’m not going to give him all that time on television,” Guiliani said. “What did he ever run for? What public service did he ever do? I’m going to debate him? This guy is a clown. He wants to do a debate like Billy Jean King and Bobby Riggs?”
Guiliani went on to say, “I wouldn’t debate that guy if they paid me $10 million. He’s a liar. All he does is put out statements in the press and they fawn all over him.”
I’m sure the only reason Guiliani isn’t biting is that Avenatti will continue to kick both Guiliani and Trump in the nuts by exposing more of what he knows about the crimes committed by Trump and his inner circle.
And so, Avenatti is challenging Guiliani to a fully transparent discussion in front of cameras, for all of America to see. And since Rudy loves the camera, we can only assume he’s scared of what Avenatti knows and so is fighting back with the usual Trump-style rhetoric-babble. He’s also unwilling to debate since it wouldn’t give him and Trump enough time to shore up “the facts” and ensure he can cobble together a “believable” story.
Avenatti has made Guiliani’s fear very clear to everyone, and made it obvious that he holds the upper hand.
Ass kicked, Rudy. Ass kicked.
