This is more obvious blundering on the part of Melania’s staff. Maybe Melania should put together a company, Tone Deaf, LLC, because that would describe her communication efforts, if not her entire being, to a tee. Melania has a number of Twitter/X accounts, and what’s odd her is her staff decided it would be a good idea to tweet the text from the money-making account and put it under Melania’s official account. Horrible idea. Nothing worse. More specifically, the text alone would have been alright, but not with the company name appearing with it. That way it becomes an ad for the company. Which was either the intent, or it was utterly tone deaf — or, knowing these people, both.

Responses to this were amusing.

Then of course the skirmishing began. TrumpFan80 was peeved at the cartoonist.

But if she’s tone deaf, she comes by it honestly, considering the company she keeps.

Trump made America’s worst day about him and now Melania’s using it to make herself a little coin. If she even knows that this went out and that I doubt. That’s the most tone deaf portion of it. I would bet money that this Twitter account is never used except when it’s thought that Melania sending a missive can either generate a few shekels or make her look good. This post did neither.

Anybody remember this?

This was supposedly in the stitching of the coat she wore at another 9/11 memorial. Look, after the peacoat debacle, which was completely over the top, and the fact that she wore a pussy-bow blouse the day after Trump’s famous grab ’em tape was released, it’s possible that she will do anything. If Melania has detractors, it’s because she earned them.

  2. Today, I prefer to remember some of the great loving guardians who lost their lives in the twin towers. Tommy Crotty always comes to mind. Seems like he was one of those rare humans that inspired everyone whose life path crossed his. So many have told stories about their memories & about the way he lived his life as a shining example.     • There were some fine people who put themselves in harm’s way to save other people. That’s the best of who we are. That’s when you can be proud to be an American. When it comes to Melania and Donald, that’s when I want to hide under the bed. I haven’t been to Europe in many many years, and when i do get back over there, I wonder if people will still be talking about this madness?

    • I have long wondered if passive aggression wasn’t her tool. I think we have our answer. She’s done these bits with her clothes and then she’s out of sight right now. That’s passive aggression. If everything was fine, she would hear what people are saying and say, “Oh, no, Donald and I are just fine. Here, I’m going to ten different cities to campaign for him.” You haven’t heard that and I suspect you won’t.
