If you thought Joseph and Mary had problems finding a place to roost back in biblical times, their plight was nothing compared to that of Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene. And Greene isn’t even pregnant with the Messiah. The only load she’s carrying is a lot of propaganda, and California is not the place where the message is welcome.
If you haven’t been following this farce, the back story is that Gaetz and Greene wanted to take their America First hate rant to Orange County, California, home of the John Birch society. You know, the place where surf Nazi Dana Rohrabacher used to be a congressman? Despite that promising history, the first venue in Orange County went belly up last week, and then so did a second one. So Gaetz and Greene moved their rally to the desert, Riverside County. They lost that venue at midnight and the drama of the moment centers around whether they will lose their last minute back up in Anaheim. If you want to lay odds about them ending up in the parking lot of a sex shop, now is the time to do it.

They are easily two of the most despicable, loathsome members of congress, incapable of telling the truth much like their mango messiah. Shout out to all venues that told them NO!

It’s been many years since I lived there but Riverside County and adjacent San Bernardino County used to GOP land, a good reason for me to leave. Is the tide really turning? Damn, I hope so.
