This song was my reaction when it was clear Biden had won the 2020 election. I played it and another song (Ooh Child by The Five Stairsteps – there’s one you might want to check out btw) over and over again but this song was first. Same on Inauguration day. It’s always a welcome few minutes to enjoy when given a reason to listen to it again. And many is the time a “woozle” has caused me to think of it. In fact, I just looked around the room at pics of Corky and Sparky, with whom I spent some marvelous sunny days oh so long ago sailing with (it was on a friend’s 27 footer) on the Chesapeake Bay!

I didn’t get the chance to go sailing very often but I loved it when I did! I actually went sailing on San Francisco Bay once. It was magic!
I loved the song back in the day. Had forgotten all about it and heard a few bars during the 2020 DNC, not the whole song being performed as part of the event but as I recall a transition from the event to a commercial. I kept thinking it would be a GREAT theme the Biden campaign could use and I can’t imagine those owning the rights would have objected. Maybe next year they will use this.
