Every sphere of endeavour, be it in the sciences, the arts, crafts, sports or stamp collecting, develops its own terminology. It is no different in the world of our furred and feathered overlords.
However, it has been impressed upon me by the Funday Furkids team (edumakashun sekshun) that their terminology, though similar, does not always mean what we think it means.
Take their legal terms for example. Though many of their words may sound the same, and even look the same, more often than not their meanings are not the same at all.
In light of all the legal news lately — indictments, arraignments, suspension of law licences etc — they have asked me to address this issue in a Teddy Talk in hopes of further educating hoomins.
Beautiful Michelle, thank you!
Thank you, Cheryl! May you enjoy a lovely, relaxed Sunday.
This is wonderful!!
Thank you, Cynthia! May you have a wonderful Sunday.
{{{Michelle}}} Wonderful, as usual. Charlie, Cloud, Freddie and Bobbie would probably love the alibi section to help them come up with reasons for why they keep eating out of Murf’s and Rennie’s dishes – but not their own. Cats. ? Skritches to Ms. Loula. Healing Energy & moar {{{HUGS}}} to you.
Loula is so lucky that she doesn’t have to share her food and she has her own designated dining area (in the entranceway to my suite of rooms – bedroom, study/guest room, bathroom and toilet). She does like me to watch over her while she eats though, especially if the patio door is open to the outside world, like she thinks someone might come and steal her food. ?Fortunately for me, I can see her food bowls through the open door of the study while seated at my desk. But even so, she feels the need to get my attention first so I stop typing and swivel around to watch her properly!
Hugs to you and scritches to Charlie, Cloud, Freddie, Bobbie, Murf and Rennie. ?
Thanks for making this Sunday a Funday, Michelle! This was indeed a very timely presentation on terms that we’ll probably be hearing a lot in the coming weeks and months. ;>
I’m hoping we’ll be hearing terms like ‘indictments’ in conjunction with ‘Trump’ and certain members of Congress.
