Before anyone freaks out, the FBI searches were not pursuant to a warrant. The searches were done with Biden’s consent upon asking. But the story is bursting today, and a lot of people are leaving out that critical detail.
It is incumbent upon every Democrat to emphasize that Biden was unaware of the presence of these documents but has been 100% cooperative the entire time. It would seem to me that it could impact the prosecution of Donald Trump and take it away from the possession of the files and focus more on the obstruction of justice and/or espionage (if it can be proven).

 The FBI was conducting a planned search Wednesday of President Joe Biden’s Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home as part of its investigation into the potential mishandling of classified documents, the president’s personal lawyer said.
The search follows a 13-hour, top-to-bottom review of his Wilmington, Delaware home on Jan. 20, when agents located additional documents with classified markings and also took possession of some of his handwritten notes.
The president has been voluntarily allowing the Justice Department into his residences as investigators seek to determine how classified documents from Biden’s time as vice president and a senator wound up in his home and office. The probe followed the Nov. 2 discovery of documents with classified markings by Biden’s lawyers as they closed up an office at the Penn Biden Center, a think tank affiliated with the Ivy League school.
The other thing to keep in mind is that the volume of documents Biden possessed is still nowhere near the volume Trump had, nor the level of classification. But, of course, the most important element to repeat over and over is that Biden is self-reported and is fully cooperating. Trump is still fighting the government.

And yet, they still haven’t searched tfg’s penthouse in NY or his other golf courses. He’s the one who personally took classified docs, lied about giving them back and wants them back because they’re “his”. He’s getting off pretty damn easy in my opinion.
