Maricopa County has just released approximately 85,000 newly tabulated votes and they are definitely good news for Arizona Democrat Katie Hobbs, who is locked in a tight race with her Botox-filtered Republican rival for the Arizona governor’s mansion Kari Lake:

KTAR News Glendale, AZ

“PHOENIX — Democrat Katie Hobbs maintained her lead Saturday evening over Republican Kari Lake in the race for Arizona governor.

Hobbs led 50.7%-49.3% in numbers released around 6 p.m. by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office.

About 34,742 votes separate the candidates.”

KTAR also provides this graphic, which displays the raw votes in the two major races, Senator Mark Kelly has already been declared the winner over Blake Masters:

Twitter Arizona poll watcher The AZ Data Guru gives us this informative breakdown:

Kari Lake’s problem (and our joy) is that Maricopa County, which envelopes Phoenix and it’s environs, and where Lake was a television news personality, is Lake’s only path to victory and the minuscule margin this drop gives her (2.6%) only netted her a little over 2,000 votes, which were in any case off set by Hobb’s advantage in tonight’s 19,000+ Pima County (Tucson) drop…

…where Hobbs is steamrollering Lake.

There are some small numbers coming out of rural counties but hardly enough left out there in the boonies to make a difference – plus Hobbs is strong in some and Lake in others, so basically they are a wash.

The remaining votes that matter are the 195,000+ left in Maricopa, where Lake is picking up 3 to 5 percentage points per drop and Pima’s 53,000+ where Hobbs is mugging Lake by a two to one margin.

You don’t need to be Steve Kornacki to see where this is going.

This race should be called very soon, despite all of Kari Lake’s protestations, lamentations, conspiracy weavings and her moon baying cult fixin’ to fit The Battle of Jericho…

March on looney warriors!

Congrats, Katie!

  1. And so the game comes to an end the way I always knew it would. There may well be sour grapes and crying over the next few weeks here and elsewhere…all of it in vain. Make no mistake, people…the ground really DID shift this past week. And there’s more coming from that particular well. Rejoice…for the day of our deliverance is at last at hand.

    • You preach there, brother Bareshark. Hallellujah! And by the way, as somewhat of a connoisseur who’s been listening to the sound of the shofar for over 60 years, that guy, considering he’s almost certainly some kind of “serious” Christian and no fan of my people, was actually pretty good. Kudo’s to the gentile’s shofar blowing!!! 🙂

  2. I wish the MSM would just call it for Katie, However I sure they want to make sure every last vote was counted before they call. I’m just tired of some of the mis-informative calls I’ve read on the Internet.
