This will be uncharacteristically short for me. (Those who read my stuff know I frequently go on and on) As the new year comes most of us at some point look both back at the year and ahead to what will happen in the new one. The year in review tends to be bittersweet as for most of us we’ve seen and/or experienced both good and not so good things. But one thing we usually find this time each year is a collection of “the year that was” TV montages and articles. Some of those are made to lift our spirits, either comedic or satirical in nature.

By Satirical I mean ironic in a kind of funny way or simply funny because some people say or do things that are so stupid and ridiculous you can’t help but smile. Or sometimes laugh but the point is that if one is so inclined you take it as fodder to make fun of assholes who deserve to be made fun of. And, let’s face it, the Republican Party has become quite the Klown Kar circus. There’s NO shortage of GOP/MAGA stupidity from prominent GOPers to make fun of!

I spent a chunk of my morning checking out links within an article that assembled a collection of “greatest hits” of GOP “WTF?” idiocy during 2023 that includes plenty of names you know.  Bobo and MTG of course. KellyAnne Conjob too. Rudy G. of course and DeSantis? Hell, he was his own highlight reel of laughable stupidity. And Ted Cruz.
