The humorless idiots at Fox News can’t even read a friggin’ comic book and understand what is going on.
Despite what their chyron in the top pic says, The Joker is not pregnant and is not trans. In fact he has had a dream in which a mysterious magician has cast a spell on him and put him, yes him, in the family way.
But you can’t expect Fox News to tell such a nuanced tale when their intent is to rile up the MAGA faithful who make up their audience… so you end up with crap like this:
“There is a bizarre new Batman storyline that has the Joker becoming pregnant and giving birth. This is a statement you literally could not say ten years ago, but this is the world in which we live now,” said Todd Piro introducing the segment.
“We cannot escape it!” said co-hosts Ashley Strohmier about “wokeism.”
“Leave iconic characters alone!” Tomi Lahren proclaimed on her podcast. “Robin and Superman, they aren’t gay. The Joker isn’t a birthing person. ENOUGH!”
Maybe, maybe not, Tomi.
But it is a fact that there was a time before Fox News when folks didn’t get so bent about the possibility that different people were different.

But back to the article and Mehdi Hasan and Parker Molly talking Fox down…
“Here’s the thing, that comic book storyline has nothing to do with trans people,” MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan said. “A magician character places a spell on the Joker that gives him a stomach bump to make him think he is pregnant. The Joker has not become a transgender character. The right is so obsessed with it and fearful of the trans issue that they are inserting it into fictional stories where they are not part of the story!”
Parker Molloy told Hasan that it had been a “big week for fake outrage,” needling the Fox hosts who likely now know how mistaken they were and foolish they look.”
Maybe, but somehow I doubt those three read “Raw Story”.

Comic books are too complex and well.written these days for Trumpies, who seem stuck at a 4th grade reading level. Geez, at 12I read at the level.of a,sophomore in college. Equally important,,I comprehended what I had read. I think the GOP needs reading comprehension training. No one should get out of high school unless they can pass a,basic arithmetic and reading test.
