If you were in the minority of folks that believed that Melania Trump would stand by her man and accompany him on the biggest day of his life to his first of four criminal trials, I can save you a call to your bookie. Melania did not leave Trump Tower with Donald. Walt Nauta was there to handle the diaper bag and the meds, and that’s as much moral support from home as the GOP nominee is likely to get this morning. Interestingly, it would have been major news had Melania done what any normal woman does in a circumstance like this and accompanied her husband to trial. That just shows you what an atypical couple they are, yet this is the pair that the Party Of Family Values has chosen as their best to occupy the White House. Here’s how the big day for the little man is starting out.

And again it is reiterated, that if anybody else was behaving like Trump, they would have already been jailed for violating the gag order.

Trump is represented by Todd Blanche, Emil Bove, and Susan Necheles. No Alina Habba. She’ll be kicking in her two cents on Newsmax, most likely.

He figures he’s got the good wishes of 2/3 of Americans. That’s quite an estimate. I don’t even want to think about how he came up with it.

  1. Who on earth would think trump’s wife would be at this hush money trial? I can understand, given who she is married to, some thinking she doesn’t have much pride but she has at least enough to forgo the humiliation of this trial. What did those who thought she’d be there think she would do? Smile understandingly? Glare impotently? Oh, I know, glare at the judge and pat trump’s shoulder while saying “tsk, tsk, tsk. Don’t worry donald…” ?!? I would be surprised if she shows up at any of his trials but showing up at this one would shock me out of the last 10 years of my retirement.

    She doesn’t give a happy rat’s ass what happens to him during this trial. Doesn’t care if he’s found guilty, innocent, or found to be a stinking bag of human sh*t. I figure she’s got hers and whatever extra she needs to continue her “lifestyle”, she thinks she’ll get from her memoir.
