The man who set himself on fire on the street across from the NYC courthouse where Donald Trump’s Stormy Daniel’s Hush Money Payoff/Election Interference trial contenders were just completing the process of selecting alternates for their 12 person jury, was political, yes, but not an adherent of either Donald Trump and the republicans or a Joe Biden Democrat.

Max Azzarello, as one might suspect from his actions, held no such commonplace political convictions, but had rather constructed for himself a complex theory of more or less recent political history, reddit.com in which Joe Biden and Donald Trump are merely two sides of the same fascist plot that had taken over the U.S. and indeed, world governments and had created pop culture icons the Beatles, The Grateful Dead, the Doors, Stanley Kubrick and Peter Fonda… while sponsoring the Charles Manson murders to diabolically ease us into their planned dystopia…

Sad as his story is, I don’t know about you guys, when I hear someone mumbling about the Beatles and Crazy Charlie I tend to move back a couple of rows in the bus…

Too bad, he was a nice looking kid…

More about Max Here..

“A man set himself on fire on Friday afternoon near the Lower Manhattan courthouse where jurors were being chosen for the criminal trial of former President Donald J. Trump.

The man, who had lingered outside the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse earlier this week, doused himself with accelerant at around 1:35 p.m. in Collect Pond Park, across the street from the building. Onlookers screamed and started to run, and soon, bright orange flames engulfed the man. He threw leaflets espousing anti-government conspiracy theories into the air before setting himself on fire…

A high-ranking Police Department official identified the man as Max Azzarello, 37, of St. Augustine, Fla. The official requested anonymity because the man had not been publicly identified. Mr. Azzarello had appeared outside the courthouse on Thursday with a sign displaying the address of a website where the same pamphlets were uploaded. The top post of the website says, “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial.”

At the park on Thursday, Mr. Azzarello had held up various signs and at one point shouted toward a group of reporters gathered there: “Biggest scoop of your life or your money back!” One of his signs claimed that Mr. Trump and President Biden were “about to fascist coup us.”

As sad as his story is, and as hard as he undoubtedly worked on his manifesto, the result of most import of his actions today will likely be big push to portray drumpf as endangered in the New York City trial venue and a likely, I suspect, campaign to have the trial venue changed.

“As a man police are linking to conspiracy theories set himself on fire in a park outside the courthouse where Donald Trump has been sitting all week, witnesses described the scene inside the trial…

…Speaking about the incident afterward, MSNBC’s Lisa Rubin said that the “overflow” room, which is primarily made up of the press covering Trump’s trial, quickly hushed as the news was received.

“I will tell you, a reporter from another publication said to me, ‘I don’t even know if the Secret Service is going to allow him back here,'” Rubin recalled from the courtroom, talking about Trump.

“Some of us weren’t sure we were going to continue this afternoon or even if Judge [Juan] Merchan knew what had gone on. It is not clear to us what’s going to happen when we reconvene from the break or how the proceedings will happen.”

It doesn’t take a very clear crystal ball to see where TRUMP will go with this, he may have already raised alarms about his personal safety in televised clips as I typed.

Lisa Rubin discusses the situation with Chris Jansing on her afternoon MSNBC Show:

How ironic that in sacrificing quite likely his own life to alert us to his imagined fascist dystopia, poor Max Azzarello may have inadvertently helped to usher us into a real one.

  1. Whatever happened to “I could shoot someone” on a NY street and nothing would happen? That was before the taxpayers funded his protection detail of secret service agents. The jurors he’s hunting don’t have that so I say PHUCK HIM. He’s not the one at risk.
