Not living in Missouri, I have no idea how Josh Hawley campaigned or what he sounded like when he ran for the United States Senate, but I have to believe that he didn’t sound like a demagogue on a burn-it-all-down mission. That is exactly what he sounds like here, at CPAC.

This isn’t the only instance of radicalization. One of the hosts at Right Side Broadcasting had to cut away from another panel on alleged voter fraud, because information was being spread and there was a fear of legal liability.

This is not conservatism, this is wingnuttia. This is who the GOP is in 2021. And this is all the lead up to the starring turn of the conference, which is Sunday night, when the graven image, craven image of the decayed Republican party makes his speech, Donald Trump, and declares his intention to carry the banner forward. And Mitch McConnell has already said he’s fine with that, he’ll “absolutely” endorse Trump as the nominee.

  1. The only guarantee of his rights is the Constitution and the laws based on it. God ain’t part of them.

Are these nutcases going to be kissing the feet of that golden statue before the end of their party on Sunday? (BTW, the congresscritters filed for proxy votes, but none of them mentioned CPAC: they claimed it was for things like public health reasons. Most of them were against proxy voting last year. Funny about that….)

  2. Sounds like he’s just opened up a wonderful can of worms for himself with this “admission.”

Get his ass in front of a TELEVISED Senate hearing and ask him one simple question: “Were you serious about your comments at CPAC?” Then, remind him that a “yes” answer results in immediate expulsion from the Senate as a traitor.

  3. Damn, Vlad got his $$’s worth with these idiots. They come cheap. They are not patriots. They are not for Democracy. Challenging the Electoral College certification – if the Dems had done the same thing in 2016, when the difference was only a little over 77,000 for EC win – what do ya think they would have said about us?

  4. Heck, Hee-Hawley uses his sister’s address in Missouri, owns a home in Virginia, and was a self-entitled jerk on the campaign trail for MO Attorney General and two years later for Senator. We’re still not sure that his election was legit. He learned from the former guy quite well. He tends to accuse others for what he’s actually doing. ??‍♀️

  5. This is the first I’ve seen of Right Side Broadcasting. Aside from their justified terror of lawsuits, what’s with the chyron scrolling along the bottom of the screen? Are those the names of all its viewers? All its donors? All its neighbors? In the middle clip of the 3, everyone seems to be named Tammy. Are they the Real Housewives of Right Side?
