You might find this an interesting tweet to bookmark or show the grandkids someday. “Yes, Johnny, I was there the day of the Great UAP Flap Of Early 2023.” And here’s a momento of same.
I personally missed the Great UFO Flap over Washington, D.C. in 1952, which became the inspiration for classics such as The Day The Earth Stood Still and Earth v. The Flying Saucers, along with the granddaddy sighting of them all, the Roswell crash in 1947.
You’ve got to love this stuff. Either ET is your pal and you can’t wait for him to show up in the closet, or you think this is all nonsense. I’ve always been a lover of speculative fiction because I love to speculate. Here’s the latest photoshopping of Joe Biden talking about the UAPs. Looks real, sounds real, is a fake.

Here’s the German translation.
“Now those in #Washington go completely nuts. Joe #Biden is just informing the nation that the flying objects are extraterrestrial visitors.”
Righto.
And so it goes on German Twitter, just as you would expect. “And can they be shot?” “He should be careful the extraterrestrials don’t take him away.”
I’m not sure what causes Joe Biden to lose sleep but I doubt if it’s the ETs coming to take him away.
As stated, I was in my mother’s womb for the 1952 flying saucers flap in D.C., so I was here but not quite.
From July 12 to 29, 1952, a series of unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings were reported in Washington, D.C., and later became known as the Washington flap, the Washington National Airport Sightings, or the Invasion of Washington.[1] The most publicized sightings took place on consecutive weekends, July 19–20 and July 26–27. UFO historian Curtis Peebles called the incident “the climax of the 1952 (UFO) flap” – “Never before or after did Project Blue Book and the Air Force undergo such a tidal wave of (UFO) reports.” [2]
In any event, I’m a creature of my era. I love 50’s sci fi. Love it, love it, love it.
Those early low budget sci fi films had a magic all their own. The original magic still holds up, dozens of screenings later.
Ohh that UFO at the Capitol is there to bring Santos, Boebert. MTG et al home to Uranus to reconnect with their heads
