New Biden files were found yesterday in Boston by the never to be damned enough Biden team. He and they know better than this. Certainly, self-reporting, cooperating, and even cooperating with a special prosecutor fully sets one apart from Trump, who is relying on the “Abra Cadabra” defense whereby he looks really hard at them, and they’re declassified. (Which still doesn’t mean he’s not illegally keeping government property.
The White House Counsel knew of the Trump files prior to leaving office and warned him that it better be taken care of or it’d be “difficult,” a “crime.” And then, of course, we know that Trump ignored NARA to the point that they tried one round of swearing to the FBI that they handed off everything and then another during the search warrant. That’s not cooperation.
But the question that will likely make the most difference is whether there was a nefarious purpose for keeping the files. We really don’t know what all Biden had, just that he had some classified files. If there is evidence he hadn’t looked at them in eight years, that strongly favors nothing more than a mistake and no nefarious purposes. But we simply don’t know. If he was “Using” them in some personal way, that’s a problem, and he should be treated just like Trump, but with the acknowledgment that he cooperated.
But Trump had Chinese defense documents and intelligence on a certain country’s nuclear missile program (Just a guess, but I suspect it’s Israel. Guessing). Those documents would command a lot of money should someone want to buy them. Is that why Trump had them? The FBI said they suspected he held them for nefarious purposes. If he held them for anticipated sale, that’s a very serious crime.
But try to convince Trump of that basic reality, on Truth Social:
NEWS ALERT: MANY BOXES OF BIDEN DOCUMENTS FOUND IN BOSTON. THIS INFORMATION WAS KNOWN PRIOR TO THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS BUT NOT REPORTED DUE TO POLITICAL RAMIFICATIONS. NARA HAS DONE NOTHING. WHEN WILL JACK SMITH AND THE GESTAPO STOP HARASSING TRUMP PEOPLE? WITCH HUNT!!!
It was “known” to NARA on Nov. 3rd. That is a lot of liberty Trump is taking with “political liberties” with the idea of using things for political advantage, considering he essentially told the FBI to F-Off.
And just to be sure that Trump – the leader, no FDR – gets his point across, his followers are to believe that the country is in its last days unless he’s elected:

Fear not. Unless anyone but him is elected, and he is the guy who in the most fascist manner took home the “crown jewels” and says it’s okay because he “declassified them” (without going through the real process) and there are Secret Service agents around. So, no problem, no one’s going to steal them. Trump may just charge for some people to borrow them. That’s how fascists role.
