Rudy Giuliani accidentally dropped his pants on Thursday. And it’s as ugly as you think.

I swear to God. If I ever get busted for shoplifting, and Rudy Droolingonmi is my court appointed defense attorney, I’m pleading guilty at the arraignment, and begging for the death penalty, rather than have to sit there and watch him bury me live in court.

I think that Trump likes having Giuliani around because he’s the only person on the planet that Trump can feel intellectually superior to. But at this particular time, and in these particular circumstances, i think Trump should prefer a guy who doesn’t give his boss the last rites every time he opens his mouth.

Let’s quickly recap the events of Thursday, and you’ll see what I mean. Late on Thursday evening CNN broke, and NBC News confirmed that Michael Cohen was willing to tell Robert Mueller that he was in a meeting with several other people in which Donnie Redux told Daddums about the Trump Tower meeting, and that Daddums approved. Within 2 hours, Ghouliani was on Cluster Fox, stating that Cohen had been a liar for so long that his mothers egg told the sperm “Not tonight, I have a headache.” Ghouliani knows this for a fact, because he contacted Don Jr, along with several other people, and they all told him it was bullshit.

Look, Trump has had a reputation as a micro manager since the day he hired his first employee. They don’t order paper clips without his approval. What was happening in June of 2016? Trump was putting the finishing touches on locking down the GOP nomination, and was already scheming with Paul Manafort about whip counting delegate votes at the convention. Along with that he’s planning rallies, working on messaging, coordinating travel, a hundred different things. And he made a summer stock production of how intimately his Satan’s Spawn were involved with the campaign on a daily basis. There were meetings up the wazoo.

So, with all of those meetings at the time, how did Giuliani know which freakin’ meeting to ask Don Jr about, and which several people to talk to? And if he asked Don Jr, how did Baby Donnie know which meeting Cohen was referring to, and exactly who the several other participants were for Giuliani to talk to? The Cohen report was totally bereft of any specifics regarding date, time, or place. Maybe because his mind instantly flashed to a particular meeting, when he opened his pie hole about the June 9th meeting? Something had to make one particular meeting stick out in his mind, otherwise, how could he possibly remember specific participants in one of what were countless meetings, all blending together?

Rudy the Rube shares a common habit with many feeble dotards like me, he never knows when to shut up. There was a simple, almost childishly easy and effective way for Giuliani to deal with this story. Go on FOX, and say that he had checked with Don Jr, and that he had confirmed that Don Jr had never spoken to his father about the meeting, in any setting. There was no one else to check with, since the event never occurred. Law 101: It’s fairly simple to prove that something specific occurred, but it’s nigh on impossible to prove that an event didn’t occur. Instead Rudy the Rube goes blathering on about checking with all of these mystery guests.

Rudy really romanced the collie on this one. Instead of tamping down the story, he gave it legitimacy, by indicating in his response that a specific meeting took place, and that Baby Trump and the participants dispute Cohen’s recollection of the meeting. And now all he has left to show for it is every media outlet throwing shine on his excuse, and openly speculating on how much both Donnie pere and Donnie clone might be in. And as long as Michael Cohen and Lanny Davis keep their mouths shut, maybe tweeting out something like #truthwillsetyoufree, this story just sits there, twisting in the wind, calling into doubt Trump’s legitimacy as President, his fondest wish.

So, if I’m the Cheeto Prohpet, and thank God I’m not, I’m wrapping Giuliani’s mouth with about 30 rolls of duct tape, and throwing him in the baggage car of the next train back to New York. Because, with a defense attorney like this, who needs a prosecutor?

  1. I just found this site, because of a posting by thebarrel7 on DKos (which I read daily), about how DKos has behaved abominably to ursulafaw. In the responses to his post, I learned that many people have been getting warnings and chastisement from the site, often with a variety of “punishments.”
I will now read this site every day, too, because I am VERY worried about what is going on at DKos. I have been blocked by them for two years, with no notice or explanation, and I can’t contact them, because that, too, is blocked. I suspected a mole working for DK. Now, I suspecting that the mole is now someone in authority on the site, and is doing things no Democrat would do to another Democrat, yet pretending to BE Democrats.
Competition with this site is a woefully inane excuse, because what DK is doing is driving people away. Which may be their purpose.
We who are members need to put DK on the spot, publicly, to either mend their ways or fully explain them.
I am finding many names here that are familiar to me from DK, good ones, too.

There is a global cabal of people involved in destroying democracies worldwide, and I don’t think it’s limited to Russia and the GOP.

Thank you, Murster, for the humor. In these dark days of endless evil and abysmal stupidity, we all need our daily giggle. Just to try remaining sane.

I would recommend the now-popular Randy Rainbow parodies, but ALSO refer you to the many (still timely) songs from Tom Lehrer, from the ’60’s on youtube.

I loved “So long, Mom, I’m off to drop the Bomb.” He’s still a phenomenon.

  2. The better part of most Republicans ran down their mothers’ legs. I will welcome evidence to the contrary, but I’ve noticed for a long time that Republicans only know how to break things. Since the ’16 election, it has become unmistakably clear that they are ALL criminals. And the GOP is a criminal organization. Finally it’s being investigated under the RICO Act, which should have been done many years ago. There’s plenty of reason to suspect that the GOP won’t let a Republican run for office until they have “kompromat” on them. That way insures they’ll always toe the party line. Something sure is making them do that, even where we can see some of them don’t like having to.
I truly hope Mueller is investigating Congressional Republicans – most notably Mitch McConnell, who is stunningly fiendish. He must also investigate Pence, Ryan, Bannon and Steven Miller – him particularly, because he is Trump’s VERY SILENT, hidden advisor on all things. Trump can’t invent the strategies he is following, but Miller is a brilliant man who has all of Trump’s worst attributes (only more), PLUS a mind capable of great cunning.
Getting rid of Trump IS important, but equally so (maybe more so) is getting rid of the monsters on the Hill. We must focus on ALL of them.
Trump is utterly AMORAL. To him, he’s the only real living human being. Everyone else is a construct, like a paper doll, put there to give him a world to move around in. He would nuke a country on a whim. I’ve known two such people. They are always dangerously destructive. But as president, the danger is profound.
Trump is also in a PERMANENT RAGE. Imagine what you’d feel like if you had a never-ending rage. It would destroy your mind, putting all your energies into maintaining that rage. Trump can never be a happy man. He lives on his pleasures instead. And his pleasures are evil and sadistic, which is why he loves violence so much, and can call deadly missiles “beautiful.”
I deeply thank every single habitual non-voter for standing up in the ’18 election. They were heroes, and gave America its best chance to nail the fascists.
We may still fail, but I’m heartened to see Dems becoming more aggressive against the aggressors, and the media finally deciding that “equivalency” is harmful, so now some are calling out liars AS liars.
There may yet be hope for America. Still, seeing Trump humping the flag always nauseates me. He thinks he owns it.
Let’s show him that he doesn’t.

  3. How could anyone ,who actually listened to “
(rude )Rudy “ , believe anything he says ?
Because not only does Rudy he walk like a penguin he speaks like a penguin, he resembles
the Batman penguin in all his actions.
He’s so lacking in credibility, that even if anything he says is true , most would “not “believe him .
…I’m not exaggerating one bit , when I say
he speaks and acts like a cartoon character.
Very much like (Burgess Meredith ) as the Penguin , while chewing on a cigarette holder . .. Now ..he may be aware of his appearance
..,but someone should tell him he doesn’t
    ..come off good on television.
His phony smile , his posture, his pigeon toe walk ,even his dress code ( as you might remember his drag show ) ,which has always been suspect…Tells me he’s not aware of how he appears on TV .
    …….As though he’s always on
    ………..a “comedy parade “.
