I can’t wait to hear the bellowing and rage that will soon show up on Lindell TV and right-wing media when Mike Lindell fully grasps what has happened here. He’s trying to decide now whether to appeal the ruling. If he doesn’t, or if he appeals and loses, he’s got to open his wallet and pay Smartmatic back some of their costs for bringing his specious, makeweight, (this is legalese for bullshit) lawsuit against the voting machine company. Poor Mike. Getting hit where it hurts. The Hill:

A U.S. district judge ordered MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell to pay some of voting machine company Smartmatic’s court costs and fees, saying in a ruling on Thursday that some of Lindell’s claims against Smartmatic fall “on the frivolous side of the line.”

“The Court agrees with Smartmatic that Lindell has asserted at least some groundless claims,” U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols wrote in his ruling.

“In particular, the Court concludes that at the very least Lindell’s claim against Smartmatic under the Support or Advocacy Clause falls on the frivolous side of the line (other claims do too). As a result, the Court orders Lindell and his previous counsel to pay some of the fees and costs Smartmatic has incurred defending itself and moving for sanctions,” he added.

Nichols also granted motions from Smartmatic, Dominion Voting Systems and Hamilton Place to dismiss the lawsuits against them.

“Whatever the judge thinks, that’s his opinion,” Lindell told Bloomberg Law in a phone call. “I’ve got lawyers doing more important things like removing these machines from every state.”

He told the news outlet he would make a decision over whether he would appeal the ruling later.

The Hill has reached out to an attorney for Lindell for comment.

Nice to know that Mike has an army of lawyers physically picking up the voting machines and carrying them away. That is a more plausible outcome, believe me, then him winning cases in each state allowing for same.

This is going to get comical.

    • Frankly, I’d be surprised if he had LAWYER (singular) doing anything. I mean, I’m not a lawyer but if I were–and I wanted to retain my license to practice law in my home state–and I had Lindell for a client, my first bit of advice would be to stop talking to the public about his plans (well, less “advice” and more “shut the f*** up, you stupid, insane, moronic, fluff-for-brains idiot”).

Then again, he may have a lawyer with absolutely no moral or ethical scruples beyond “make sure to get paid upfront for everything–preferably in cash” until he runs out of funding.

  1. I’m convinced his ‘lawyers’ are people who actually are legally licensed to practice law but have some other career so that when/off the frivolous shit hits the fan, then they don’t really lose anything other than Lindell’s influx of cash. I’ve torn about whether Lindell is a true believer of the lie or not and Lindell may very well be making more money fundraising off this shit. Lindell still is out of his mind b/c I don’t see him getting the money he’s going to have to pay Smartmatic and Dominion from the Trumphumpers. He’ll get sone, but he’s not getting a million. As for his call to ‘Eli’ Musks people ‘tell him I’ve got a 15 minute presentation…’. I’d give Satan my first born for Musk to take the meeting and start investing in Lindell & Trump if Musk thinks Democrats are so bad. (They are. I’m convinced that ALL of the minus Bernie, AOC and assorted progressives are absolutely fine w/ the US becoming a fascist authoritarian Christian republic with archaic laws based on crazy religious beliefs of a few loons that they force on everyone b/c they fundraise a whole hell of a lot more off of it. Wth do they care anyway, after the insider trading, surely they have millions squirreled away overseas and can just go live in London , Zurich, Tokyo, Singapore (obscenely expensive cities outside the US where they can live a normal life while the US descends into the 15th century.
