Shades of George Soros, or for that matter, James Bond. We have a well heeled mystery figure or group of figures and they are so intimidated by Kari Lake that they are offering her millions of dollars to leave politics.

But not Lake. No, she is going to stay in the fight for Arizona and America because she apparently breathes the same air as Mike Lindell and she cannot see that all she’s doing is making a spectacle out of herself.

For some reason, staying relevant and having the spotlight on her, even a negative spotlight, is compelling her to make up this hogwash. And that reason isn’t blue or red, it is green, as you will see below. But first, her latest set up to fleece the rubes.

What a rock her moral compass is. The following is from the Daily Caller piece. I won’t post a hotlink here because I decline to push traffic their way.

“Something happened to me this week before I left for CPAC and it shows how desperate these people are to stop me,” Lake said during the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

“Somebody showed up at my door this week,” Lake continued. “They called me before and said: I gotta talk to you in person, this can’t be done over the phone … They came to my door and they tried to bribe me out of getting out of politics. This really happened. I’m telling you this because this is how disgusting politics is. A mom who runs for office and they’re afraid of me? They tried to bribe me with a job title, with a huge salary, a position on a board.”

Lake said she rejected the offer to sit out, and claimed she was asked to name her price “to get out of politics for two years.” She then said she told the person to “let your handlers back east know that I can’t name a price, because there is no price that I would sell out my country for.”

The sad part here is that millions of dollars are involved but not bribe money.  Lake has raised $2.5 million since she lost the election. If you’re MAGA, politics is a win/win situation. If you win, you raid the public coffers. If you lose, you lie that you won and the election denial crazies send you beaucoup bucks. And you get to keep it. Less than 10% of Lake’s donations went to pay her lawyers.

The day that Katie Hobbs was declared the winner of the governor’s race, cash poured into Kari Lake’s campaign, as people from across the country heeded her call to fight back against an election system she said was “BS.”

More than 8,000 people contributed $338,388 to Lake’s failed campaign on Nov. 14. Less than a quarter of those contributions came from Arizona, though the Grand Canyon State led the way with about 1,700 donations. Money arrived from every state, plus Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.

Lake took in more money that day — six days after the election — than she did on any other day of her campaign, which began in mid-2021. It was the first of five days after the Nov. 8 election that Lake’s campaign would tally more than $100,000 in contributions from across the country, according to the Arizona Mirror’s analysis of her campaign finance reports.

The failed gubernatorial candidate saw another surge in cash a week later, as she made the circuit on right-wing media in advance of her soon-to-be-filed lawsuit that sought to overturn the election results. On Nov. 22, Lake’s campaign collected just shy of $196,000. The next day — the day the election challenge was filed — she raked in another $157,000.

Between the day after the election and the end of the year, Lake received more than 57,000 contributions from 37,281 people. All told, the former television news anchor turned MAGA star raised $2,515,169 after the election.

And she’s eating, drinking and making merry, all with MAGA contributions.

And Lake spent nearly $14,700 over the course of a month at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, the swanky AAA Four-Diamond hotel where the Arizona Republican Party held its election night bash. Lake appears to have booked at least 11 rooms at the resort the day before the election and at least seven for election night.

But even after the election activities were over, she continued to spend money at the pricey hotel. Campaign finance reports show 17 charges totalling more than $6,700 at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch on Nov. 14. Three days later, it spent another almost $2,900. On Dec. 7, the campaign racked up another $2,059 bill at the resort.

Another $11,900 went to airline tickets on American and Delta in 17 separate transactions. The campaign spent more than $5,000 on Hotels.com during the same time, and Lake forked out more than $2,600 to stay at the Hilton West Palm Beach in late November when she went to spend time with Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort. She also spent more than $3,300 at Trump’s resort that month.

And Lake’s campaign incurred 27 charges to DoorDash for more than $1,300 in the nearly two months after the election.

Election denial pays. It’s become a cottage industry in Arizona. When all the 2020 post-election ballot recounts were taking place, the people involved were very handsomely paid. Being a “floor administrator” which consisted of rolling bins of ballots back and forth, paid $120 an hour. Nice work if you can get it. And you may recall that the Cyber Ninjas made over $5 million and then proceeded to get in debt.

Don’t look for Kari Lake to leave the picture anytime soon. She’s making too much money. I don’t know what Fox paid her to read the news but it wasn’t $2.5 million in five weeks.

She’s also making enemies. Here is Michael Reagan’s two cents.

I don’t know if Trump is dumb enough to put Lake on the ticket, but that’s what she’s gunning for. This primary will be lit, as I’ve promised. I see no way it can’t be.

  1. What is it with the length of her finger? I noticed it with Guilfoyle’s finger too. Do R women have extensions put in so it’s more dramatic when they point? It’s weird.

  2. Someone needs to give this lake broad a bit of a reality check: if a bribe were to be given, it’d be to get her on the ‘pube P/VP ticket. Having a complete and utter moron who was responsible for WAY more deaths than should have been even possible during Covid AND a twat even kookier than Marjie Kooky Pants—fuck that is the ticket from heaven for the democrats. No one could help put diaper donny back in the W.H.–he was a fuck-up, is a fuck-up, and always be a fuck-up. Problem is he showed the entire planet just how big a fuck-up he is–including the U.S. and independents/’pubes who are not magats (he showed the magats too but they are delusional). Putting this twat in the v.p. slot would bury his ass. He lost bad in 2020 but a trump/lake ticket in 2024? Fuck he’d get annihilated.

So my question to lake is: how much would it take for you to get your crazy bitch ass on that ticket?

    • She certainly doesn’t understand how wealthy people think. If they wanted her out of politics, it would be less pricey and far more certain to have her bumoed of. “And make it look like an accident, 007.”

    • Why would the Dems pay this silly politician wannabe to stay off the ballot when they could bribe Sarah Palin less to get her on the ballot. Either of these two dummies should guarantee the loss for trump But the base is shrinking all the time as the less stupid followers fall away to support the main stream GOP, so Trump is likely to lose the next election anyway. In doing so Trump will bring down the GOP for the mid terms in 2026 as well. Going to be a wide hot desert for the GOP for the next few years ay any rate,

  3. “Somebody” showed up at her door. Probably one of the “people” Trump refers to when he claims “People say…”

    • By god, Denis, I think you nailed it … this useless waste of good old oxygen, has been just as bad a grifter as Trump … As the dust settles if it ever does, she, with some good investor’s help, could live quite a long time on those extra-fine donations, spending little for exotic island hide-aways … sometimes, I feel a little short-changed in these hard days of marginal health and rising costs for everything …

  4. Yes, it’s funny how she doesn’t name the entity that begged her to stay out of politics and offered her millions to withdraw. What really makes me sick to my stomach is the delusional, stupid idiots that sent her 2,5 mil after her loss. WTF is wrong with these people?

  5. Wow. What a stupid . . . . (Just fill in your favorite insult there)

She had a chance to take a bribe–supposedly in the MILLIONS of dollars–and then just basically flip off the briber/s by staying on in politics?

    Again. What a stupid . . . .

I mean, did she not actually think, “Hmm. I can take their money and then just go ahead and keep on in politics and what are they going to do? Sue me for taking their dirty money and going back on the deal? They’ll be in just as much trouble–if not more. Bwahahahaha!”

So, since she obviously wasn’t smart enough to think of that, I’m calling the story a load of BS.

    • she is claiming it was a job offer of some sort. hard to renege on. But who would want her who isn’t MAGA and thinks she SHOULD be in politics? She might even have a hard time getting her newscasting job back.

  6. I believe that this quote came from The Daily Caller: “AND LAKE’S CAMPAIGN INCURRED 27 CHARGES TO DOORDASH FOR MORE THAN $1,300 IN THE NEARLY TWO MONTHS AFTER THE ELECTION.” That amounts to a charge of about $4.81 every other day for two months. It seems like small potatoes to me. Or did I misinterpret that? Is it saying that each of the 27 charges was for more than $1,300, not that the total bill for 27 charges was more than $1,300? (If so, it would have been clearer to say “of more than” rather than “for more than.”) Now, that is something. Please advise, if you would. Thank you.
