While the Orangeutan parties at Mar-A-Lardo this weekend, no doubt scheming to induce Kari Lake and MTG, who are both visiting his roach motel, to enjoin a Veep deciding mud wrestling match for the amusement of his members, potential rivals for the 2024 Republican Presidential Nomination are busy badmouthing him at The Republican Jewish Coalition meeting in Las Vegas.

Bet this is one instance where what’s said in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas:

MSN

“Rivals for the Republican nomination in 2024 have been courting former President Donald Trump’s big donors during an annual conference in Las Vegas ahead of the next presidential primary season, AP reported.

The two-day Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting, which began on Friday, is taking place days after Trump became the first Republican to announce his 2024 campaign.

Critics of the former president, which includes former Cabinet members, have been making speeches and gathering with major Republican donors on the Las Vegas Strip, with some raising Trump’s failings, AP said.

The event features a who’s-who of Trump’s potential 2024 opponents. Private donor meetings are taking place behind closed doors, AP said, as well as in-person speeches by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a prominent Trump rival, and former Vice President Mike Pence, who Trump said would be “very disloyal” if he ran against him, per AP.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and Florida Sen. Rick Scott are also listed as speakers.“

Not to mention former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a real backstabber if there ever was one, whom Trump was beyond stupid for giving any oxygen to, let alone the plum Cabinet Position, who it is reported said of his former boss:

“We were told we’d get tired of winning. But I’m tired of losing.”

Jebus, I HATE drumpf but still can’t believe that ungrateful SOB said that.

Mike Pence, who already soiled the sheets with da boss in his ABC interview last week let loose with another fragrant squirt saying “To win the future, we as Republicans and elected leaders must do more than criticize and complain.”

Subtle that, Mike, did you think of that all by yourself or did Mother help?

Chris Christie, who owes the Orangeutan nothing, after the way he was dumped on said “In my view, he’s now a loser. He’s an electoral loser. You look at a general electorate, I don’t think there’s a Democrat he can beat because he’s now toxic to suburban voters on a personal level, and he’s earned it.”

Ouch.

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, perhaps anticipating that the biggest loser would ultimately decide not to run, and perhaps not wanting to burn any bridges, was more circumspect, opining only that the party was “just moving on.”

Maryland’s soon to be ex-Governor Larry Hogan, observing the general tone of the other wannabes commented… “maybe there’s a little blood in the water, and the sharks are circling.”

DeSantis and Nikki Haley were not quoted in the article, maybe being the only ones smart enough not to antagonize the thin-skinned loser unnecessarily and prematurely.

Not that it will do them any good, just being there will earn them drumpf’s undying animosity.

I am sure drumpf and his Minister of Silly Talks, Stephen Miller, are keeping score and are crafting pithy responses to the others as the Party in Florida rages on…
