This is like the Portrait of Dorian Grey in reverse. Trump is in horrific shape, compared to the video of him from five years back. Take a look.

If you missed the West Point address, here’s a noteworthy moment.

He’s barely functional. Presidents age in office, that’s a given. It’s a difficult job, when one does it. In Trump’s case, he’s collapsing before our eyes and this is with dodging all his responsibilities and watching TV. Business Insider:

  • President Donald Trump’s staffers are concerned about his mental capabilities, an anonymous senior administration official wrote in a book set to be released this month.
  • According to The Washington Post, the author of “A Warning” wrote that Trump “stumbles, slurs, gets confused, is easily irritated, and has trouble synthesizing information, not occasionally but with regularity.”
  • “I am not qualified to diagnose the president’s mental acuity,” they wrote, according to The Post. “All I can tell you is that normal people who spend any time with Donald Trump are uncomfortable by what they witness.”

From here to Tulsa, to an unmasked, undistanced audience, during a pandemic. What could possibly go wrong?

I saw a post on DK about the using two hands to hold a glass of water. I wonder if he didn’t have a stroke, when he had his “mini physical”?

I notice that he tends to lean on the podium on his left arm, like his right arm can’t bear weight any more.

It looks like he couldn’t get his arm to go up far enough to get the glass to his mouth. He had to push the glass up with his other hand. What would cause something like that?

A torn rotator cuff. I’ve had mine repaired twice. I couldn’t hold a 12oz can of coke with only one hand.

Hypothetical scenario: suppose he actually dies before November. Don’t rule it out…today should be a sign that it could happen. Whatever will the GOP do then?

I’ve heard some speculate that they pumped him up on Valium before letting him go to that podium today, which may explain a lot. But yeah, I like the reverse Dorian Gray angle. Trump stands as proof that Oscar Wilde was right when he said that bad Americans go to America.

I’m wondering about it. I think that November run to the hospital was a significant event. He is worse to me, since that incident.

Yeah, after that, he’s been melting down like a ice cream sandwich on a stove.

It was almost 3 weeks ago, at the Memorial Day service, that his right arm jerked out violently away from his body while he was pretending to be praying with hands folded in front of him. Parkinson’s? MS? Stroke?

It’s hard to really tell if he’s deteriorated in that video because in the earlier clip he was extemporaneously boasting about him, his favorite topic; in the second, he was reciting from a TelePrompTer — and his speech patterns are very different in each.

Unfortunately, malignant narcissism and pathological lying are forms of psychological disability that have long term deleterious mental effects. His posture, speech issues, mental confusion, and balance issues all point to growing dementia.

I do hope it is indicative of neural degeneration and that he is suffering painfully. If true, then there is a gawd.

Never ask what could possibly go wrong because then something definitely will.

ES, I can diagnose him. I am a Physician.. TRUMP has #PicksDisease SEE WEB MD https://tinyurl.com/yd383h8c Pick’s disease is a kind of dementia similar to Alzheimer’s but far less common. It affects parts of the brain that control emotions, behavior, personality, and language. It’s also a type of disorder known as frontotemporal dementia (FTD) or frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD). Your brain uses a transport system to help move around the nutrients it needs. This system is made of proteins that like railroad tracks guiding trains guide nutrients where they need to go. The proteins that keep the tracks straight are… Read more »

Thank you for the diagnosis. I think you may very well have nailed it. I also think it would fuel anger to a greater degree due to his narcissism. It would upset his self-image as being perfect in every way including in health. His body betraying him is unacceptable to his narcissistic mind.

His behaviour has always been odd so the question is for how long has he had Pick’s disease? As you point it there’s a case to be made that he had it even before he was inaugurated
