It’s Official. Open Hearings On Impeachment Begin Next Wednesday.

The Democrats are striking while the iron is hot. They just announced that the first open hearing of the Trump impeachment inquiry will take place next Wednesday.

This is gonna be some fun, you bet. GOP House member Jim “He groped me coach!” Jordan just held court for reporters, and like the Visa commercials, it was priceless. Jordan, who has accused the Democrats of cherry picking favorable tidbits from the closed door depositions to leak to the press to tar Trump, just spent his time cherry picking the most arcane and nonsensical snippets to try to muddy the water. Adam Schiff is going to have no end of joy trying to keep this particular howler monkey under control. Thank God that the state attorneys are going to do the major part of the questioning, although if Jordan replaces Devin “Midnight Run” Nunes, as the ranking minority member, he will get questioning time up front equal to that of Chairman Adam Schiff.

For those of you who were unable to catch his performance, i have included a video copy of it below.

To know the future, look to the past. before the insanity of the 2020 election, relive the insanity of the 2016 GOP primary campaign, and the general election, to see how we got to where we are. Copies of  President Evil, and the sequel, President Evil II, A Clodwork Orange  are available as e-books on Amazon, at the links above. Catch up before the upcoming release of the third book in the trilogy, President Evil III: All The Presidents Fen

Devin Nunes or Gym Jordan…what’s the quantitative difference? Both are mental midgets, both are shameless suckups and neither are going to be any match for the likes of Adam Schiff. On another note, if we’re just getting the first open hearing next week, it’s looking doubtful we’re going to hit that Thanksgiving or possibly even Christmas deadline folks have put on this process. I look for it to hang around like a bad smell for much longer than people are anticipating.

I think the main difference is that Jordan isn’t a mental midget. That might make him more evil, but he is more effective. That’s not a high standard, though, bc there are likely other members on the committee that are better than Nunez.

I do admit that Jordan is tough to argue against. Highly aggressive and just smart enough.

Something tells me that ex-prosecutor Adam Schiff is going to find him a lot easier to chew up than you would. Being the smartest guy in a room full of GOP pols doesn’t automatically mean you’re ready for the big time.

The GOP-T whines a lot about these hearings – but they can’t be bothered to show up, those that are supposed to be there.
They want it both ways. F*ck them.

It’s typically what you do when you don’t have a leg to stand on.

Because Jim Jordan is pretty effective?

I am not saying he persuades me at all, or utilizes many facts not pre-approved, but he is the best at the Trump style of getting it in people’s faces with no apology.

Everyone knows how I feel about the actual abuse of power and the actual defense, but in terms of how they go about defending themselves, Joran is 10x better than Nunez, and probably 100x better than McConnell, probably right there with Graham. It was actually a smart move that frustrates me bc he’ll go further in the house.

Jordan is, like all bullies, effective at beating up people weaker than himself. It will be interesting to see Schiff’s tolerance level for his BS should he get too cute. And getting further in the House as part of a minority party is hardly a boon. Otherwise, more than a few folks with a lot more seniority than Jordan wouldn’t be fleeing for the exits.
