Trump Approval Among Republicans Hits New Low: Friday Pick Six

We need this to go out on, great way to start the weekend (not that we’re ever truly “gone” on the weekend, we aim to serve).

Feast your Friday eyes upon this delectable piece of cake.

As everyone has  always said, the only reason that Republicans are willing to support Trump through everything, is fear of the MAGA head voters. The MAGA-head majority will always be with him, but if those numbers continue to move downward, below 70%, and his public approval ratings get to 35% or so, Kate bar that door, because very very few U.S. Senators, the folks not ensconced in nicely gerrymandered districts, can survive those numbers. At that point, Trump could be in real trouble.

And so here we are, Friday afternoon, and just a little earlier than normal because I am taking daughter to get a haircut. So, time to get the anticipated Friday Pick-Six out to those of you who love to email me and quibble with my choices. 🙂

Gotta admit, Jason, I’m really digging those West Wing clips you’re posting up. Fictional context aside, it’s nice to see what a real president SHOULD act like in the midst of this interregnum.

Can we put the Republicans on a big ‘Space Force’ ship and send them to Boote’s Void? They could take Trump with them and he could become Emperor of the Void.

If he’s the one actually in charge of his own brain, then he already IS Emperor of the Void.

Regarding that “Welcome to the future” bit, it’s way late. We’ve already been IN “the future” for well over 2 decades. And second was “Terminator.” According to that film’s backstory, Skynet went online in August of 1997 (while the film… Read more »

Then, of course, there is the Republican manual of how they think things should be, George Orwell’s ‘1984’.
