Adam Schiff Let’s Congress Have It, While Trump Threatens Retaliation Against His Perceived Foes

An impassioned Adam Schiff spoke before Congress today and reiterated all the foibles and wrongdoings of the Trump campaign with respect to Russia and the subsequent Mueller investigation. Here’s a C-Span video of his entire address. If you do nothing else today, carve out four minutes to listen to this, because this is exactly what you need to hear to understand the total absurdity of the Trump camp posturing as innocent victims. I’m sure the Trumpites shrieked when they heard this, like the Devil does when sprinkled with Holy Water. Trumpites can’t stand truth, it’s physically painful.

And bear in mind that Trump was on  Fox News last night babbling about treason and the people who investigated him going to prison. The man is insane.

“You’d have 100 people in jail right now and it would be treason. It would be considered treason and they would be in jail for the rest of their lives. … It would be virtually the maximum sentence that you can find, no matter where you look in whatever legal book.”

Trump is temporarily drunk with power and threatening retaliation against those who have investigated him — not to mention trying to bar his detractors, like Adam Schiff and John Brennan, from the public airwaves.

“We are getting to the bottom of it,” he said. “Hopefully they won’t get away with it.”

Get away with what, you unspeakable dolt? Government oversight? This is outrageous. This is a new low, even for Donald Trump.

Well, I am confused by the ‘conclusion?’ of this investigation. I wasn’t expecting such a meek end. And is it concluded? What about the grand jury? Some answers from somewhere would be nice.

If the report supported Trump’s claims of innocence it would be released immediately. In doesn’t, likely the reverse, so expect that it won’t be obtained without a major fight, or a leak. This is not concluded. The Repukes are trying a full-throated assault to set the narrative. but it isn’t working. This won’t be over as long as there are people who actually care about the country, such as Adam Schiff, performing as he did today.

I have completely lost count, but I believe there are somewhere between six and 14 other investigations into Trump, some Federal (and some of those in different districts), and some in States. And that’s not counting the House investigations by committees chaired by Schiff, Nadler, Cummings, Waters, and I know I’m leaving someone out. It isn’t over till it’s over.

Schiff was great, this needs to be seen by every voter. Sums it up perfectly, with facts.

And less we forget, despite Trump’s outright lies to the contrary, Barr’s letter clearly, plainly and unambiguously states:
‘The Special Counsel states that “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

Adam Schiff did great! I wish the article had an image of him instead of President Idiot at the top. I think most articles need to stop showing images of Trump as that only boosts his ego, or if you must use Trump’s image, use one of the back of his head. That would really get to him and his thin skin.
